I moved my wife into Charter Memory Care in December of 2024, and I’m very happy with how things are going for my her. She’s always happy to see me, and she is always in a good mood. I know that there are probably times when she is not in a good mood, but from what I’ve observed from your staff, I know that those times are very likely handled well. Your staff always seems to have a good, positive demeanor - friendly and lots of smiles. They always take time to visit with me and answer my questions. Also, the staff’s interactions with my wife (as well as the other residents) are very uplifting for me; they are attentive and caring. I understand how difficult it can be, caring for all the residents of your facility, and I think your staff does it very well. I’m glad she is being taken care of by Charter Memory Care.

Charter has a dedicated staff of employees with a passion of providing quality care to the seniors that live there. They have beautiful outdoor views and a secluded feel that would make you forget you are conveniently located behind a Target and next to a hospital.
The sales director Ali gave my family and I a tour of their assisted living facility, she was so professional and friendly and gave us all the details we needed. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking
My father in law had a decline in health after the death of some loved ones. He needed to move from an independent living community in Indiana to an assisted living here. We looked at all sorts of places throughout the Quad Cities. When we toured Amber Ridge we knew this was what we were looking for. They were smaller than some but that was an advantage. The large places intimidated my father in law with their size as he had difficulty walking distances and I did not sense any closeness of residents with staff. In some the way they know a resident is ok is that they press a button on the wall! Residents have more interaction with staff at Amber Ridge and there are eyes on checks. There is more individual attention and all the staff are like family. There are facilities available like a theater room, a center garden, and physical therapy. If ever we have a concern, they are an open book at all levels of staff. How many places could you go to the directors office and they welcome you in by name and listen? The largest problem I have talking to the director Cindy is that its hard for me to not take up her time talking and catching up. She is more like a good friend. The nursing staff is very attentive as is the support staff. The most rousing review I have is that when my father in law moved here he was 130 pounds, fragile, depressed, often dizzy and with difficulty walking distances. Now he is 170 pounds, much stronger and mobile. He loves family day events (especially ones with music) and going on the occasional community trip to places like The Cellar.
We enjoyed a nice lunch and visit with Dennis. The staff were very gracious.
