My mother-in-law was recently allowed to stay here after a major operation. From the first contact it was clear that there was a very poor way of working. Rude employees who were not only belittling but also insulting. Because she could not get up independently, assistance was necessary, for example when using the toilet. Waiting two hours for assistance after using the emergency bell. Not once but every time. After a week and a half, despite several requests, she was only washed once. Giving medication that was not allowed and then calling her stubborn. I advise everyone to do thorough research before planning your stay here. Food and therapy was good. The rest is just downright bad, especially by the healthcare staff.

What a shame that you can only give 5 stars. Way too little!!! After my operation, I have been staying at the Amandelhof for 4 weeks now. A beautiful green environment Yes, the building is outdated, yes the bathroom is vintage 😀, approached positively but...... The care deserves a huge compliment!!! They provide cheerfulness, conviviality and perfect care. They respect my desire for independence without risking my safety. Two weeks to go. I will miss you so much, but I already know that I am always welcome for a cup of coffee. Thank you for all your kind care
Nice quiet place A single patch of land that has not been mowed is very beautiful The rest and a lot of lawn that doesn't look like it has been mowed to death
Amandelhof is a care home, in the middle of the woods, free parking. You can drink coffee here or have a hot meal at lunchtime. There is a shop. Many activities are done, including bingo, bocce, memory games, etc. etc. Highly RECOMMENDED.
Not clean, old and not very smooth staff
