I volunteer for one of the hospices and I am a retired Activity Director. Walking into a nursing home can be dicey experience. You don't know where you are headed. I got zero attitudes from the staff. Everyone I saw, although swamped busy, was friendly and took a moment to give me directions on the room locations I needed to visit. This was directly after lunch. I saw smiles on the staff, pleasant attitudes, and smiles on the residents. Signs that show a happy work environment. Our family has had an exceptional experience with Chandler Creek Post Acute. The team here has gone above and beyond in assisting us, particularly with navigating the complexities of the Medicaid process. Their expertise and support have been invaluable during this time. The facility itself is outstanding—clean, secure, and very well-organized. It is clear that the staff takes great pride in maintaining a high standard of care and professionalism. Every person we have encountered has been incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate, creating an environment that feels welcoming and supportive. Because of the excellent care my father has received, we are confident in the decision for him to transition to long-term care here. Chandler Creek Post Acute has truly exceeded our expectations, and we are deeply grateful for the peace of mind they have provided our family. I highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking skilled rehabilitation or long-term care for their loved ones.
As a nurse that visits many facilities, this one is beyond great!! Matt and his clinical staff strive hard to provide care to each patient as they deserve. It’s a really clean place and filled with a lot of smiling faces!
I do not recommend this facility for long term care. My aunt has been January, 2024.The residents don’t have decent food to eat. The meals are still horrible, breakfast is cold, chicken is served everyday, in some form or another. The substitution menu is cold soup, cold sandwiches with white cheese and no condiments, chef salad with nothing but lettuce and no dressing. Residents have met with admin for their help and nothing has changed. The residents are dependent on them for their basic needs to be met.
If you want Quality care, this is the place. My mother has been here since January this year and we are well pleased. The entire staff has been great and attentive to my mother’s needs and care. Yes, the building was going through a remodel and in spite of all that, the quality of care was there for her. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the nursing team and staff are always checking in. I went different times during my daily visits, and mom was always happy and said how nice everyone has been. This is extremely important!! Now, I must give a shout out to the business office and Teresa Adams, because without her assistance and support I don’t believe I would’ve ever been able to navigate through all the paperwork and regulations. Ms. Adams checked daily with Medicare and state agencies to make sure that the information and procedures were in process. It’s tough enough for a loved one to make a transition to a new normal, while the family is making sure they receive the best care, then struggling to deal with all the paperwork stress. I realize that tough decisions have to be made, I feel that a good one was made in selecting Chandler Creek Acute Care.
