If you have any other options before accepting Central Towers as your home. Wait for them! You Will be unhappy. Residents are treated as objects. Observe the do not signs all over the place when you take your tour as the first clue. If your in a wheelchair note all the hard to open doors in your way to empty trash or do laundry. Ask why the need to lock common rooms when we have 35 cameras, security guards and double security doors to get in & out. If your a smoker just plain forget coming here. Even those iwho need to use walkers have to walk down the block and across the street in the dead of winter. And the food.. Well at least they serve something. And don't get me started on the homeless panhandling for cigarettes. Seriously, it's really bad. It's Just One of the reasons why full time security is needed.

I have only positive things to say about living in Central Towers, with one exception. If you are expecting a clean air, smoke-free building, you might be disappointed. The no smoking policy is in place and management consistently works to enforce it, but some smoking residents insist on smoking in the building, with the result that nonsmokes can be exposed to secondhand smoke in elevators, hallways, and at times through vents into their own apartments.
I have lived here for almost 4 years and have no complaints. And when was the last time you talked to an old lady who has nothing to complain about. :) I am on a limited income, and Presbyterian Homes helps me with that. We have discounted cable, free wi-fi, the food shelves come to us. Parties, activities of many types. Same day maintenance on almost everything. Receptionist and security guard, chapel, cafeteria, home care is available. And the newly remodeled apts and lobby are beautiful. Here to stay. :) 4 years later: I have been here 8 years now, and I am still happy to call Central Towers my home. Kirsten and her team took care of all of us for the last two years during that horrible COVID pandemic. Kirsten and team made sure we all the food and supplies we needed, the mental stimulation, emotional support, and they brought the COVID inoculations to us. They gave up their own time and days off to be here for us. Now that the pandemic is under control, normal services and activities are back. And that is even in the face of rising prices and shortages of people and supplies. I am still 'here to stay' :)
I have lived here for seven years. This is home for myself. I did homecare and seen many different high rise. This building I was impressed with. It was the people and the staff. I was very happy when I received the phone call that I was accepted. It's close to the bus line, skyway and Lunds. Home is where the heart is and my heart is here.
Mgs at central towers are terrible especially Kirsten, very rude and discrimitaring.
