1550 Beacon St, Brookline, MA 02446, United States
My husband and I only moved here at the beginning of the year and while the initial process was difficult to settle down a move by date, we have been pleased not only by the convenience of living near Coolidge corner but also not only is the furniture nice...it not only looks nice, it is so civil: THE PEOPLE ARE POLITE AND FRIENDLY HERE! I never realised how lovely it could be to have such pleasant conversation with my neighbors. It's a relief to be at a better T stop. My husband and I have also live 4 bus stops off the orange line of forest hills in the food desert of Mattapan after previously living on Comm Ave. I missed this part of town a lot. I was already coming to this part of town to use the Eastern Bank, the Brookline Food Pantry, and now I'm so much closer again. And it's also in a really nice neighborhood. I now live within walking distance of: Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Star Market [New England Kroger], and Bazaar [a Russian and eastern European grocery store. Almost all labels include, sometimes exclusively, cyrillic lettering, which this building also has a lot of, and I'm hoping to soon learn Russian from the neighbors!

This is a good place to live, the staff is good & promotes respect, the maintenance people are great, & it's easy to make friends, there's always a chance to meet people if one joins in things, the programs are good.
Gerry and Ruth: We love it here and we're very happy here. It's also a safe place for seniors
