First and Second impressions are outstanding. We're looking for a place to relocate my parents to and this community stood out! We were given an impromptu tour by the front desk staff after showing up unannounced. She was friendly and offered a lot of details and clearly loves her job and the community. The residents are out of their rooms, utilizing the common areas, engaged and happy. Staff knows the residents and their family members by name. The terms "neighbors" and "community" appear to be very sincere and not just cooked up by the marketing department. When we had our more official meeting with an admissions coordinator, she was generous with her time and answered all our questions. Other facilities that we toured had nice/fancy common areas, but they were totally empty. The residents were in their rooms, no where to be seen, and did not have the same level of engagement that we saw on our visits to CV. I'm looking for my folks to build community, have social engagement and not be sad and isolated. In direct comparisons with the variety of activities and menu offerings, these guys had more going on than the other facilities we toured. We will be choosing Celebration Village Acworth.

Amanda gave us a tour of the facility today, and wow, was I impressed - the nicest facility I've been to. The apartments range from 500 to 1500 sq. feet with all the amenities. There is something for everyone. The staff we met were great. I highly recommend the place.
We were so reluctant to move dad to a facility.. much less Memory Care. We thought there was no way he could get the care that was needed since he had one on one caregiver in his home for the past few years. We are beyond happy with our decision in moving him to Celebration Village memory care and actually wish we had done so long time ago!!! The engagement that he gets is far superior to what he was getting in home. He is talking to people, enjoying music and interacting like we have not seen in a very long time. Thank you for the peace of mind we have knowing he is getting the best care and enjoying his days!
My father-in-law loved this place. He spent his last 3 years here and couldn't say enough about how well he was treated. Nice apartment style living, with a great cafeteria, movie theatre, bar - he still loved his wine and beer. At 94yo, he had a right to enjoy it all. I am not sure if we properly thanked the staff here.
I recently toured Celebration Village Acworth with Amanda, looking for Memory Care and my experience was absolutely horrible. No. 1 It was cold when I walked in the building and the Memory Care was freezing and there was a resident shivering on the sofa and no one seemed to care. No. 2 Amanda didn't appear very informed about people with dementia and she gave a fake smile to the resident asI was waiting for her to excuse herself from me to get assistance but that didn't happen. No. 3 The Memory Care smell was so unpleasant and the hallway smelled like urine No.4 There were zero activities I was so emotional once I reached my car after seeing this as I left in disbelief that a company could exhibit such horrible accommodations for people that require help and assistance. I will NOT send my loved one to Celebration Village in Acworth. I told several people I was looking here and now I can't wait to share my horrific experience.
