She is well cared for and my sister and I can rest easy knowing she is safe. Roberta who helped with our admission is simply an Angel put on earth to help people in need. In search of a new home for my father, I discovered Celebration Villa of South Hills. During the first visit and tour, Roberta welcomed us and explained the services, charges, and admission process thoroughly. As we toured the community, we observed her interaction with the residents, and were impressed by how well she knew them. It was a clear indication of the staff’s care and concern for the residents. It is a lovely, well-kept community, and it has a "homey" feel. My dad is treated with dignity and respect by the staff; they are kind, caring, and patient. It is common for my dad to comment on how well he is cared for. There is a friendly atmosphere among residents, and they show a general concern for each other. After spending a week in the hospital, my dad returned to a warm welcome from the residents. My family and I are incredibly pleased with our decision, and we highly recommend Celebration Villa to anyone looking for a senior community in Pittsburgh.
If you have a need for an assisted living facility, I highly highly HIGHLY recommend celebration villa of south hills. No matter what role, from nursing to activities coordinators to management, the staff there is incredible. Absolute top notch team all around. I visited several other facilities and decided to go with Celebration Villa and feel it was the best decision for the resident we moved in and is in a really good area of the south hills. The place is very well maintained, looks great, cost effective, has lots of activities available for residents and most importantly for us, they have the level of care that we needed. If you are looking for a place, be sure to check out Celebration Villa. Just a fantastic place.
My stepmother loves it there but the new management is all about bottom line. As an experienced RN I can say that staff is friendly but definitely not trained to deal with sicker Patients Against my advice they left poor woman on oxygen in Stepmoms room. After 2 of her previous roommates passed.The room was filthy, oxygen tubing on floor, over flowing trash, and the DON never came in room to assess. It's OK if you have family member not as I'll. The DON not an RN and has poor customer service skills as well.
I have worked here for 10 years and I'm still amazed at the care that we give compared to other facilities. From the time you meet Roberta for a tour to moving in, every question is answered and she makes the move in process easy. Then after move in, from care to dining and activities..we have great people who do everything to make sure our residents feel like they are at home
