Sending my grandmother to a nursing home was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make. I struggled with guilt and worry, questioning if I was doing the right thing. But from the moment she arrived at the facility, I saw the warmth and compassion that surrounded her. The staff welcomed her with open arms, treating her not just as another resident, but as a valued person with a lifetime of stories to share. They took the time to listen to her, making sure she felt seen and heard in a way that reassured me that I had made the right choice. As the days passed, I witnessed how they went above and beyond to care for her. The nurses would check in on her regularly, ensuring her comfort and well-being, and the caregivers treated her with such kindness and patience. It was clear that they weren’t just doing a job – they genuinely cared for her like family. My grandmother, who had once felt lonely and unsure, now smiled more often, participated in activities, and formed bonds with others. Knowing she was in such a loving and attentive place gave me peace of mind, and for that, I will always be deeply grateful.

CedarWoods was our second choice for memory care for my father. Our first choice that we sent him to, had all the bells and whistles, a flashy facade, beautiful interiors, and this is why you can’t trust a book by its cover. We quickly found out that my dad didn’t fit into the mold of a little old lady that is ok to sit on a sofa and watch the Elvis movie. The “care” in health care wasn’t there, until we, “circled back around to our second choice.” Cedarwoods gave my father loving care to the very end of his life. During our 6 day journey of dad’s transition, the aids would come down, and love on him. We heard all sort of stories about him that will be treasured, by me and my brothers. Remember….It’s the care of the workers, and not the beauty of a building. We received 5 star CARE from those beautiful people, until my father took his last breath. We are forever grateful for CedarWoods! Blessings!
Cedarwoods Assisted Living has been a blessing for my elderly mother and our family. The staff truly go above and beyond, treating her with kindness, respect, and genuine care. She’s always engaged with activities, enjoys delicious meals, and feels right at home.
February my Sister and I had to rush to find a place for my Mom to live. Came across this facility, got an appointment to tour quickly. Very clean place, assisted living better than a nursing home. The Administrator Donna Lou was helpful in making the transition from rehabilitation to their location. We were leary, we know our Mom and wanted her safe. I commend the staff who is awesome! Not an easy job to assist or fully take care of someone not family, once who were independent, now not! It begins with the Head. The owner is a very compassionate man, interested in listening to concerns, and getting an understanding. Keep up the good work Cedar Woods Assisted Living! You are making a difference! Thank you! Cedar Woods does a nice job of caring for my mom. My mother can be difficult but the staff are very patient and helps to attend to her needs. The owner is very caring and reduced the cost to accommodate my mother's budget in addition to providing her adult briefs free of charge. Very satisfied with the care provided.
