My parents are so happy to be at Cedarhurst. The staff there is top notch with such caring and dedicated workers. They all chip in and help one another no matter what they are doing. The nurses and administrators are so good with all the residents and their families. They all know how to make the residents smile. The maintenance director Jeff is the best also. He is very fast at getting things done for the residents as soon as they ask. Also not to mention that the food is fantastic at the dining room. The food is so good that I would definitely rather eat there with my parents than at any restaurant. My parents have been Cedarhurst residents for over one year and our family would not want them to be any place else.
I have visited this community many times over the years. Staff are generally polite when you meet them. The esthetics of the lobby / dining area are warm and decorated with the same types of decor that you might find in any home of that region. I would encourage anyone looking to finally get on board with a senior living arrangem ent to pay them a visit. Check out how warm and inviting the atmosphere is when you walk in. You will not be disappointed!
The facility, staff, activities, cleanliness and food are all wonderful. No complaints but I do wish they had new waterproof recliners in the TV area and nicer restaurant chairs. All the chairs are too low for the elderly. I’ve seen them urinated on so many times that I never sit in the TV area recliners.
This is a very nice community! My daughter works there, She is the Life Enrichment Director!, and she loves her job! She loves helping the residents and making them smile!
