Update 2/25/2024 A Cedarhurst corporate employee did meet with me and was kind and listened to concerns of my Mom living in a bug infested room. As of today their solution has been (after they told me they were going to replace the heating/cooling unit where the bugs are coming in) is to put down pest strips. So in their reply saying they addressed my concerns, they did not unless you count changing out the pest strips and raising her rate $810.00 per month, (bugs included). My mom’s last day at Cedarhurst is Friday, What bothers me the most is the previous resident in that apartment moved to another apartment in the community because why …….bugs, so clearly they KNEW of the bugs when they put my mom in that apartment. My experience with Cedarhurst is that it comes down to the bottom line, profits over occupants safety, and concerns. My mother had no hot water for a month, and I have yet to visit her that I have not killed some kind of a bug in her apartment. I had reached out to the corporate office previously and did get a nice set of Text messages. But now, as I try to reach out, it’s radio silence on the text message. I would like to thank the food staff at the Cedarhurst where my mother resides. They are all very friendly, caring, and unfortunately, they are understaffed. I am available to discuss these and several other issues, just give me a number and a name. Thank you

Owensboro cederhurst has roaches in there kitchen nasty.
Lovely centrally located home office!
Horrible management. Medication mix-ups, unhappy residents, and unhappy staff. Mice, bed bugs and cold pizza. Staff left feces on floor for over 5 days. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!
Don't let your loved one be a corporate bottom line until they die with a UTI in a Cedarhurst property.
