I see 4 stars in your reviews. I call B.S A good friend of mine worked here and told my wife and I the goings on. It was terrible what he told us, people being ignored when they were in their rooms asking for basic needs like snacks and drinks. ALL of the staff outside at once smoking, on extended breaks. he was the only one in the building with the residents. Boss's daughter working there with absolutely no training whatsoever, this said individual gossiping with the kitchen staff about what was in residents private medical notes. H.i.p.p.a violation right there. Punishing a resident by withholding basic needs because of something that you read in his case files. that is abandonment and neglect!! Unqualified staff carrying out duties they should not be doing just because the so called real nurses are outside smoking. You should be ashamed of yourselves!! This dump needs to be closed down, or at the very least reported to the authorities so they can be investigated. Gross Neglect is happening in that building. Licenses should be checked to see if those staff are trained to be there, especially the cna's. It really upset me to hear of the things that were happening there, I work in and I am trained in the medical field...and this place seriously needs reporting!!!

My family and I recently placed our loved one in the memory care at cedar point and I couldn’t be more pleased. We have remained well informed of her needs, progress in adjusting, and any concerns. The staff are always very attentive to my grandma and the other residents while visiting. Two weekends ago they allowed us to have a largely attended birthday party for grandma in the dinning room. Our nurse Morgan was so sweet and helpful. Anytime we have dealt with administration they have made sure to communicate effectively on a level all parties could understand. Memory care is a very difficult task and Cedar has managed to make it look easy. I am so grateful for all the hands and hearts that care for the residents not just grandma. THANK TOU CEDAR POINT
Horrible experience. I have COPD. Pushing call button for nurse or cna took 2 hrs sometimes. Neglect at it worst. Food was not low sodium. High pressecssed low quality. Main cook Tony didn't care, would alter any food meals she said she was "too busy to worry about that. You eat what you get". She is in charge of a nursing home kitchen ? Not to mention messing up medication and try to give me wrong meds. So glad I left!!
DiD not like it at all!! Nurses seem pretty lazy.. there's never one in sight every time I've came to visit my sister. A lot of the people have to take care of themselves more often than not. It takes the nurses forever to respond when my sister pushes the call button! I'm doing everything to get her out of there!! 😞 After my sister being there for 9 months here is my updated review.. bout the only time they showed true compassion was in her last week of life. But one of the cnas held her down against her will and forced a covid test.. which I don't think is legally allowed. And then after her passing they kept what they wanted even though I directly told them we wanted EVERYTHING back. .. I definitely do not recommend this place. If you have a loved one here speak up and check on them constantly. But honestly I'd say to get them out of there. At one point my sister was asking for pain medication and the cna got tired of it and told her if she didn't stop she'd lock her in a dark room... GET YOUR LOVED ONES OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!!
The residents are well cared for whether in the memory unit or in the regular unit of the facility. The food is much better than many skilled nursing homes I have visited. The staff members I have gotten to know follow the facility policy that residents are treated as family members.
