After a very poor experience with another assisted living facility, I found Cedar Creek of Bedford. I live in Bloomington but chose Cedar Creek of Bedford because of the home-like feel which was confirmed by the kindness of the first people I met there. My Mom lived there the last two years of her life. She found a real community there, a mix of individuals at different levels and a truly dedicated staff who work hard to keep the residents involved in the ways that work for them. Staff are very caring and patient. They truly like and care for those who live there and are respectful of each individual. Every staff person there gives their individual best from the Director to nursing staff to the cooks in the kitchen, everyone and for the residents, there are all kinds of activities, crafts, outings and special events. Residents’ families are included and encouraged to participate too! And lots of work goes into not just keeping a clean and safe residence but also in making it homey and celebrating holidays of all kinds. It is the people who make a home and this was home for my Mom. And when we knew my Mom didn’t have a lot of time left, they were there for her and for me as she left this world. I highly recommend that if you are looking for yourself or a loved one or a friend, you visit and meet the staff there. Bedford has a wonderful treasure in Cedar Creek of Bedford.

The staff at Cedar Creek take great care of my grandfather. They communicate with my family to meet his needs and are very good to work with. There are activities for the residents to participate in Bible Study, Crafts, and singing. We enjoy visiting with my grandpa in the outdoor area with the rocking chairs, swing, and flowers.
I can't thank Kim and the entire staff at Cedar Creek for the compassionate care that they all showed towards my dad in his last two years of life. I will be forever grateful. Cedar Creek of Bedford is the only place I would recommend to take care of your loved ones!
Nikki & her staff took really good care of mom during a recent respite. The accommodations were really clean & nicely decorated. Mom is most critical about cleanliness & she ranted & raved about how clean the facility is. The staff took such good care of mom, at the end of her stay it seemed like she was saying goodbye to lifelong friends. She hugged each one of them & told them she loved them. I highly recommended Cedar Creek for your assisted living needs.
Cedar Creek is a very nice assisted living home. The facility is very clean and has a very homey atmosphere. The facility workers are very nice, polite and will do everything they can to try and meet all of your needs. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for an assisted living home Don Gratzer
