1061 Cecelia Dr, Pewaukee, WI 53072, United States
I am the sister of a Resident who was fortunate to enjoy the comforts of Cecelia Place, for too short of a time, before his passing. On behalf of Greg's family, we all found the entire staff to be available to Greg, every minute of the day, to take care of his personal hygiene, his medication management, dietary requirements, & therapy. The Director went out of his way to see that Greg had everything necessary to make his stay in Assisted Living comfortable in his beautiful "Suite." The Nursing staff was always available, whenever he needed them, and also saw to it that whatever pain he was experiencing was controlled with the proper medications. The facility offered activities that kept Greg entertained & motivated. He enjoyed it all, thanks to Nikki, the Activities Director, who made daily living pleasurable for Greg! A past review of "meals frozen" was not what Greg experienced. Each meal was prepared by a Chef with great concern for his dietary needs, as well as being delicious! In Greg's own words, "I haven't eaten like this in years!" So, thank you, Jack! I can only say that every one of the employees, whether part of the superb cleaning crew to the Director of the Facility, were always friendly, helpful, & compassionate, to all of Greg's needs. Communication was never an issue! Cecelia Place deserves nothing but praise, & we would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who is looking for the comforts of home, with a Staff that we considered our Family!

I find it extremely difficult that anyone could rate this facility anything higher than a one star. I rarely saw the same staff members twice. And if I did, they were exhausted, overwhelmed, burned out, and upset. The turnover is unacceptable. In fact, I would walk in, and most times, it was difficult to find anyone at all. The hallways were poorly lit, and my mom's room was FILTHY. I would in fact write "clean me" in the dust. We had to either clean up feces ourselves, or repeatedly remind the staff(if we could find someone) to help. My mom wears Depends, but I'm not certain they ever helped her change them, HORRIBLE, and when they did, they were simply left in the garbage s her entire room smelled of urine. When we moved her out, it was apparent from the shadows on the carpet where the furniture was placed, and the stains that they were never cleaned. My mom had an odor, and her clothes looked filthy. The plethora of promised group activities, and services like Beauty Parlor was spotty to non existent. The communication was HORRIBLE. The administrator was rarely on the premises, and phone calls were rarely to never returned. His name is Mike Postin, and he is a BULLY. He is disrespectful to staff, family, but most importantly the residents. We were constantly overcharged and had to dispute the statements on a regular basis. We had occasional family meetings(once a year tops) and any and all issues were always presented as somehow being my mom's fault. We chose Cecilia Place because we needed to relocate my mom emergently, and outwardly they had a great sales pitch. I am happy to say we have moved my mom to a lovely facility across town. She is hygienically clean, clothes are clean, hair is done, involved in activities, and THRIVING. Her room is spotless and odor free. The staff turnover is minimal to nil, and they seem to love their jobs, and my mother! If you care about your loved one, do your homework, and stay away.
Terribly unprofessional management that don't bother to respond to simple scheduling emails
Great staff, great food, great place! Apartments are about 1000sq ft and the place is kept perfectly clean. Strongly recommend.
