Mom was injured in another facility so I've been cautious and worried with moving her from the hospital. Cascade Valley Senior Living has been, across the board, kind, compassionate, efficient, has all their ducks in a row, and communicates often. The staff are amazing - the level of kindness is special. It's clean and peaceful - so unlike where mom was previously. I absolutely love this facility. Also, the food is restaurant quailty and highly nutritious, which our elderly need. Special thanks to Heidi, the director. She offered help when I was struggling to find a place mom would be safe. I am so grateful. Highly recommend.

You sense the family, love and home environment immediately upon entering the doors. Heidi Hutton the Executive Director is a true leader to the entire staff, the clinical team is top notch, there are no odors with the exceptional housekeeping, the food is amazing with a senior Chef. The residents are happy, engaged and enjoying activities including scenic drives, live music, lavender fields, mani and pedicures + so much more! Great place to work at with amazing residents to serve.
I love this place. It's beautiful, the staff are wonderful, and my mom said the food was amazing! She loved Cascade Valley Senior Living. I liked the fact that when my mom first moved in, she lived on the assisted living side of the building. The staff loved her and treated her with the dignity and respect she deserved. Then as her dementia progressed, they kept a close eye on her. The staff and I had lots of hard discussions about moving her over to the memory care side, they were so helpful to me. They loved my mama too. Although it was the most difficult thing I have ever had to do, it was an easy transition moving her to the memory care side of the building with the help and support of the staff. It was easier for her as well, she already knew everyone. I would recommend Cascade Valley Senior Living to anyone who has that difficult task of finding a safe and loving place for their parent to live out the rest of their life. They do fun things, outings, have great food and a very LOVING STAFF, with lots patience. They are exceptional.
I worked for corporate America for 34 years. Never, not once, did I ever work with management this poor or uneducated. 3 things if you move here. 1) Plug in a video camera first thing and watch it. If they steal yours (they did ours), call 911, report it and ask for a case number. File a report with DSHS and give them the number and details. 2) Save everything you do and say in email form. This will be your only proof that they lie over everything. 3) Do not give them cash or checks without the name of the business on it. The Executive Director asked me to leave mine blank. It went into her personal bank account. I have the cancelled check to prove it! In the state of WA having a video camera is allowed per law for voice and anyone coming into your room. Look up the WAC code. All you need to do is post that a camera is live 24/7. Watching the videos you will see they do not do the work you pay them to do. Keep notes and videos with a timestamp. When the managers come in and pull the plug on your camera (3 times to ours), file another report with DSHS. This is against the law. Keep on them. We did not soon enough. It was miserable when they retaliated against our 90-year-old father. He was in great spirits when he started there in September 2023. Our family went through hell with their cheating and lies. After reporting our trouble to DSHS in April, retaliation started! After 2 ½ weeks of waking him up in the middle of the night to “take out your garbage” he didn’t get up for breakfast! That rarely happened. During the next 2 weeks he fell 3 times. 2 ½ weeks later he passed away. Most people who helped him were good. The man at the front desk and accountant are wonderful! The food was good and plenty with great, friendly service. They rarely picked up his garbage, even though they charged him to pick it up 2 times a day. EASY MONEY! He took it out to the hallway quite a few times because he didn’t like the smell of soiled briefs. Our biggest complaint is management! The lies, cheating, overbilling, the lack of work that you are billed for, theft (by management), retaliation, threatening our father (3 managers stood over him, in his recliner, after pulling the camera plug threatening to transfer him out and sue him if he didn’t sign paperwork that I refused to sign) and a poorly written assessment. The assessment is what they bill you from. Be there and videotape the assessment. I would not sign it as most of his was wrong. They promised to assess dad at their place and adjust the bill. They did not. The bill came to $6669.33 instead of the $4300 we were told it should be close to. Do not sign any paperwork that is this far off. You will be stuck paying for something that you should not. I finally gave up in May and signed the papers as they were closer yet still overbilling him. During a one-week hospital stay and a 1 ½ week hospice stay we continuously heard from others how bad this place is. If management was better, this place could be great! I can prove everything I have written with video, still camera shots and emails.
Molly Clark has revolutionized daily activities and care for Memory Support residents. She has created a thoughtful, fun and enjoyable environment where our loved ones feel deep connection and care which helps them live their best lives daily. The level of respect & love she pours into the residents is shown in their smiles, good days and overall well being. I am beyond thankful that my mom continues to receive the best care from Molly.
