I have a relative who has been shipped to several nursing homes. Casa has an outstanding nursing staff. Until I had been in the others, I had no idea how bad some people have it. It takes truly caring souls to do this type of work. Mr Perry is was the most outstanding, taking time to explain his reasons for treating everyone the way he would like to be treated. The entrance is very inviting, similar to its little town. The best feature is that it offers in-house dialysis. This was such a huge inconvenience and drawn-out process in other places with transportation. Here, it doesn't take away from other therapies taking place. I would say with the bad reviews... this is not the Hilton, but where healing takes place.

CASA is really nice place. All of the employees are excellent, especially Taylor at the front desk, she’s very professional and always have a welcoming smile! It’s always clean and my mom is doing well and improving every day with the physical therapy program. The nurse will call family members if they thinks there are any concerns or information to pass on.
My husband was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma this summer in July. He is only 41 years of age and this was devastating news for our family. He was began treatment in August and he gotten very ill. He lost a lot of weight and he was admitted into the hospital for about a month. He was placed on oxygen and at times I thought I was going to lose my husband. After his hospital stay, he was place at Casa of Hobart for rehabilitation. We received excellent treatment and care. The nursing staff was attentive and supportive to all of my husband’s needs. The staff was concerned and welcoming of myself as well. Carmen was very nice and helpful to any questions or problems I had. She was quick to respond to my messages and even went the extra mile when the problem exceeded her duties. Sara was also very professional and fast to return calls. Everyone greeted me with smiles and often asked about my husband and I. I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs rehabilitation. The care was top tier. The communication on the business side needs some polishing but overall the experience was great. My husband came to the facility severely ill and left there 80% better than before. He is walking on his own and gained over 10 pounds. He is still recovering but he is home now. God Bless the ladies and gentlemen of Casa!
You know, I used to work in a nursing home and let me tell ya... It's hard work! I went with my daughter to visit and let me tell ya, these people are soo nice! My daughter is pushing and I want to wait. When I do give up my house, I want to come back and hang out with Rene. She is so unbelievably nice! Thanks again for the grand tour. My daughter is happy I have agreed to stay at Casa when the time comes!!!
As someone who has witnessed the pain and suffering my partner’s family endured because of Casa of Hobart, I feel compelled to share what I’ve observed and heard. This facility is not only poorly managed, it is a place that actively neglects the residents that they’re supposed to care for. The stories of neglect and mistreatment I’ve heard are heartbreaking, and the time I spent at the facility only confirmed these issues. From the moment my partner’s mother was admitted, her dignity and well-being were disregarded. She was left stranded in her chair after therapy sessions, unable to move because the staff didn’t care enough to assist her getting back into bed. I saw firsthand how the facility lacked even the basics of sanitation, with an overwhelming smell of waste throughout the building and provide adequate hygienic care to patients. The most shocking thing I’ve heard is how they refused to provide her medical records, effectively trapping her in this place and impeding her transfer to an adequate facility. It’s appalling that a facility could operate with such disregard for its residents and their families, ignoring calls and avoiding accountability. To make matters worse, this facility is now under investigation by the health department for its failures. Please, for the sake of your loved ones, avoid this facility at all costs. No one should have to endure the pain and frustration my partner’s family has faced and I wouldn’t want the same for yours.
