My mom is currently residing in the Casa De Las Campanas Skilled Nursing Facility. I can't say enough wonderful things about her care. Everyone has been so kind and compassionate. A special shout out to: MJ in Admitting, Mike & Kristie in Occupational Therapy, Jared in Physical Therapy, Cindy and Kyoko in Social Services, and all the fabulous CNA's and Nurses. We are so appreciative for everyone that participated in her exceptional care!

I've been a resident of Casa de las Campanas for 7 years. Living independently I have enjoyed the benefits of a continuing care facility: peace of mind, great food, a vibrant community and productive and enjoyable activities. For five years I have been the chairperson for hall artwork in the Sur building. This allows me to assist new residents who have more art work than they can accommodate in their apartments. Residents can loan or donate artwork that I arrange to hang in the hallways. It's a great way to become acquainted with new neighbors and appreciate the variety of life experiences these people bring to our community.
My wife and I moved to Casa six months ago. It has proved to be an inspired choice. The friendliness of both staff and residents has made our transition easy and enjoyable. I have been fortunate throughout my life to have had access to workshops that allowed me to enjoy making things. Casa is enabling me to continue to do so. The Hobby Shop has an impressive collection of woodworking equipment, and its energetic, friendly, and encouraging leadership has been most welcoming. If carpentry is not your thing, Casa supports numerous other activities that allow residents to pursue their interests.
As a first impression, this place is out of this world! The executive branch and staff alike, are beyond measure! A true team! A care facility yes, but more like a resort, so many amenities, and the services Casa de las Campanas offers its residents, outstanding!!!! This Casa family, is a family that truly cares about its residents and the senior community. You would be blessed, not only to live here, but to work here. And honestly, In my humble opinion, I have never seen a place that is more welcoming to all! And lastly, I must add, the grounds and spectacular views here, are just stunning and beautiful! Great job everyone! Keep up the excellent work! Kenton J.
I am very appreciative of the peace of mind CASA gives my family. Not only for my parents who live there but for my brother and myself. We know that my parents have assistance only minutes away for any type of issue they might encounter - from maintenance in their apartment to emergency services to follow up care for any health issues. That might be changing a bandage on a minor cut to recovering in the rehab center from a major surgery. The most important aspect however to me is the social benefits they enjoy. They can join clubs, stay active with pools and indoor gym; participate in all kinds of physical activities, hobbies, see live entertainment, meet for weekly games, meet up with friends at the various eating options. From an informal "cocktails in the hall" to a spectacular theater show put together by residents for all to enjoy to a fine dining experience. They also frequent the sports and entertainment venues of San Diego with the comfort and ease of a shuttle service. When I visit them I feel like I am at a resort. I get a chance to hike nearby, enjoy fine dining at La Terraza and participate in lively conversations with the friends they have made. And let's not forget the incredible and caring staff of CASA. Everyone has a smile and I believe they truly care about my parents. Recently, our family went through a tough time with the passing of our mother. Everyone knew what we were going through and afterwards, they took time to give us their condolences and remember our dear mother. CASA honored her memory with a memorial service and flowers and a notice in their beautiful Sur lobby. Residents and staff of CASA made a point to keep close to my father and offer him comfort and friendship during this difficult time. I continue to sleep well knowing my father is independent and thriving and if something should change, he will be assisted in that process. Thank you CASA.
