My Aunt just left here and she is completely broken because of the "treatment " she received from this inept 'skilled' nursing staff. The nurses aid was visibly under the influence of meth and coworkers were completely complicit. She has bedsore that was never charted or treated! Do not let these people get ahold of someone that you love! They want the money, not to take care of your loved ones, but the money. Charged for receiving oxygen full time during stay... Never once was oxygen administered! Pathetic! Shameful!

The WORST home in all of Nevada. If your loved one gets sent here, BEG to have them moved. The staff couldn’t care less about caring for patients. The nurses are rude and horrible. The place needs to be shut down, gutted and leveled. Build something useful over it ASAP.
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. My family member was just transferred here from Renown to complete 6 weeks of antibiotics and receive physical therapy following a brain infection complication from surgery. It hasn’t even been 24 hours and it’s astonishing how poor the care quality is here. He needs to wear a helmet because of a craniectomy and can’t put it on himself due to left arm paralysis. He paged the nurse for help FOUR TIMES and no one came which meant he was forced to go to the bathroom TWICE with no helmet (if he fell over and smacked his head, he could die). They aren’t providing him his personalized insulin plan, which he has perfected after 30+ years with the disease. He has missed TWO of his required antibiotics doses, which he needs to get TWICE A DAY and is the only reason why he’s there (he’s extremely independent). No one checks up on patients or responds to calls. This place is absolutely miserable — it’s where people go to die. No doctors or NPs on staff to speak with or complain to. I encourage all those with loved ones here to submit a formal complaint through Medicare. DO NOT LET YOUR LOVED ONES GO HERE AT WHATEVER COST!
My wife Ruth and I were extremely pleased with the nursing our sister in law received at the Carson Nursing and Rehab Center. Everyone went out of their way to help my sister in law and her husband from Candace Stewart who answered the phone to the rest of the staff no matter how busy they were. We want to especially thank Jennifer Palmer, the Social Workers with her patience, time and for the love she showed our whole family. We highly recommend this care facility.
Imagine the place you “would NOT” want your loved one. That is this place. Horrible. I stopped in to see my loved one. My loved one just laid there in excruciating pain, nobody around or any where near to help. There were two wings at that particular location, and the nurse was working both wings. The nurse was around the corner and way down the hall. I spoke to the doctor and told him her condition. He came in and checked on her, and saw she was in a lot of pain, agreed to raise her medication, but did nothing to get her relief right away. He had to finish all of his other patients. This started around 12noon. At around 2pm, I called to check if she had received her medication. No, she hadn’t because they said they were waiting on the pharmacy to release a code so they could get it???? I called again a few hours after that, and still nothing. Think about this, 88 years old, demented and in excruciating pain, for all that time. Can you imagine. I’m telling you, she was in excruciating pain. Horrible, horrible, horrible.
