Very friendly, caring staff who interacts beautifully with the residents. Many activities available, good food, and clean rooms. Staff regularly checks in with my daughter to find if she has any needs. They bring joy to her and she brings joy to them. Staff daily encourages the residents with smiles on their faces. Very thankful for Care Haven and the positive change it has brought to my daughter since she arrived here.

My mother was sent here from the hospital for rehab. The facility itself is old. The smell was unbearable. I don't know how the staff handles it. The staff was friendly but it took days for me to get any information on how long her stay would be. I worked from day 2 to get my mother out. The clothing she was brought in wearing went missing on day 2 to never be found. I will never let my mom be sent to a facility like this again if I can help it.
I just got to this place today August 31, 2024. My first impression I wished that it wasn't a lasting impression. First of all the nursing home patients are combined with the rehab patients. I'm here for rehab on my knee. This makes it difficult to get help when you need it because it's more nursing home patients than rehab. Some of the staff are nice but others are not. My day nurse was Michele who went above and beyond to help me settle in. Than I got Charlotte the night nurse. I had chest pains and she had to take my blood pressure and other things. Evidently by her helping me it put her behind on her rounds. Well I called out for help again. This is when Amy came. She is so unprofessional, don't know how to talk to people and rude. She came in telling me I needed to wait because I caused my nurse to be behind on her rounds. That they had over 80 or more patients to deal with and only 2 nurses. That I didn't need to go to the hospital. If she had came into the room like a professional nurse than she would have known all I wanted was the pill that goes under my tongue. The way she talked to me made me feel like I didn't have common sense and didn't know what I needed and was talking about. Thank God that I am able to speak for myself and I know my body. It only takes one to give a facility a lasting impression and Amy you are it.
The staff are very welcoming & friendly. The information shared is both helpful & insightful. The facility tour was especially beneficial to getting a layout & navigation of the halls.
This place makes me sick. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The only good thing about this place is that the residents are very sweet people unlike the staff. The staff is rude to their patients AND the family members. Asking a simple question will get you quite an attitude. They did not change our family members clothes for 3 days. It also reeks in there! Now I understand it's a nursing home, it will smell, but you can tell when you walk past patients in the living room area they clearly have not taken them to the bathroom to change them in hours! I beg you do not send your family here.
