My father has been a resident here in assisted living for the last several years, and I have been very pleased with the care he has received and the professionalism and kindness of the staff, especially since the new owners took over management of the facility last fall. An experience our family was apprehensive about has turned into a relatively seamless transition, and ownership being local is an added plus. Our dad has adjusted well since moving in, and we're thankful for the folks at Cardinal.
My mom has been living at Cardinal Senior Living at Danville for a year. She is well taken care of, and you can tell the staff cares. When we visit or call, she is happy and loves to tell us about the things she has been doing. I do not live locally so I also appreciate that they post photos on social media for me to see my mom having fun. I know she is safe and being taken care of!

We've had a loved one in memory care at Cardinal Senior Living, formerly Brightleaf Place for two and a half years. Although our experience with the facilities and communication with the staff has always been very positive, we've seen many great things happening with the new ownership. Inside and outside there have been upgrades, improvements and even more interactive opportunities for resident's families. Much care is given to providing a bright, positive and healthy environment for the residents.
