I'd give 0 stars if I could. But I definitely do NOT recommend this place. They got sick of my dad not listening (he has dementia) and so they sedidated him and left in bed for 4 days (no food, water, didn't take him to the bathroom.) When we went to visit him on a Sunday, we forced them to call 911 and turns out my dad had a severe case of pneumonia and a UTI. He's been in the hospital since Jan 21, 2024 and then because he needed to stay in the hospital, they kicked him out of the room. I could go on and on, but ill let it here. Just don't do it, avoid them at all cost!!

I could not be happier with Caraton Commons. I cannot express my deep confidence in them and their staff. They have RN's, LPN's CNA's and other qualified, caring staff. They have Director of Nurses which you do not find in many other places. I have been impressed with the quality of care and the loving environment that my mother lives in. The staff are so loving to her and other residents that it warms my heart. They truly love their job and the residents. It was the best decision I have made for her!!!!! I could site many situations that have stuck out to me over the last 6 months but one in particular stands out as simply put "beautiful". A worker in building 1 (Brenda) has befriended a resident who has no family at all. He speaks very little English. She speaks Spanish so she can communicate with him easily. A week or so ago I passed her as she was walking in with this particular resident (she must have taken him for the day) and I asked her if they were related. Brenda told me that he had no family whatsoever and she and was now his family. What a big heart this young woman has and how beautiful to see such an act of kindness, love and admiration. Kudos to some of the other workers in building 1. When my mother was unresponsive on a few occasions I was summoned to her room to find Jessi and Unique on separate occasions caressing her forehead telling her how much they love her and later when she came to they expressed how she scared them. These two woman are so loving to the residents too. All in all, I highly recommend this facility if you are looking to placing a loved one and want to be assured thy will be well taken care of.
My mom is here. She enjoys it for the most part. Lol
