My husband had been at Caprice nursing home for a month. The care and attention he received at Caprice was amazing. The staff from the faculty, nursing and aids were above my expectations. I had little worries leaving him in their care when I wasn't there. He had many issues and the kindness and personal caring for my husband meant everything. The facility is clean with no hint of a nursing home smell. The staff all worked together and all were positive and helpful with all our needs.

I have to be blunt and honest. From the day my mom was put there I knew it was definitely the wrong place. The smell of human feces through out the complete building, lack of air conditioning, the disrespect from the staff when I asked for ice and hear them complain about having to get out of a chair or off a cell phone to direct me to a ice chest with no ice not to mention ask them to please give my mom her medication. People were reported for abusing my mom. It’s sad that the last days of her life I couldn’t be there because of the smell, disrespect and above all the look of defeat in her eyes. All due to inadequate employees and abusive ones. There was no motivation for her or help for anyone there. My father fed her daily, laid with her and comforted her. Because of the fact that place is a prison and they don’t care. Don’t take your loved ones here to watch them go from the strongest person in my life to just a person waiting to fade away. So sad that I even allowed this unacceptable treatment happen. William A. Bricker II
It was completely unacceptable that my loved one had to pass due to your teams lack of personality to give people the care they need. Especially ones that can't speak due to medical reasons. It was heartbreaking watching him suffer because of the lack of care from staff. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PUTTING YOUR LOVED ONCE INTO THIS FACILITY.
Great care for my Aunt. Staff really cares. Location is convenient for Boardman and North Lima area. Highly suggest this nursing home.
My mother has received care there for just over four years now. We feel greatly blessed to have chosen Caprice for her treatment. She arrived at the facility requiring a vent and soon afterward they were able to transition her to breathing on her own. Her caregivers have treated her - and my father and me - with courtesy, kindness and understanding. They keep close tabs on her medical condition and communicate with us promptly. Any issues that have popped up with Mom have been quickly addressed and solved. The folks who work there have become like extended family to us. Highly recommend Caprice.
