We owe our thanks to Scott and Lisa Lang who are managers of this fine establishment. Scott and Lisa are very engaged with tenants, workers, guests as well as going above and beyond bringing tangible awareness of Capital Ridge to neighbors, businesses and organizations in the community. It is so clear to us each time we visit mom is happy and thriving in a safe, beautifully well kept and maintained apartment/community. We truly believe the highly positive resident interaction that takes place here at Capital Ridge during meal time, activities (tailored by the residents in cooperation with a highly responsive activities coordinator), neighborly care and concern, reflect the positive caring professional leadership of Scott and Lisa. We can see Scott and Lisa in action in so many ways: serving the residence at meal time, making upbeat fun announcements, playing the piano, singing with residents, having an open door policy for residents, encouraging great patience, and professionalism with residents, guests and workers, having a balance of care and concern with professionalism, maintaining respect & independence for residents also seasonally decorating and bringing beauty and joy creating a feeling of warmth and home, and most importantly Lisa and Scott achieve something that is truly beautiful: they create an environment where people can break out of isolation into community involvement at a level each resident desires.

Sharing a review from my mom regarding my grandmother: My mother and I would like to extend our heartfelt commendation to Scott and Lisa Lang, the dedicated managers of Capitol Ridge Gracious Retirement Living in Bristow, VA. Since moving to Capital Ridge in September 2022, my mother has felt at home, thanks to the warm, inviting atmosphere that Lisa works so hard to maintain. Every season and holiday is thoughtfully celebrated, bringing joy and a sense of community to the residents. Scott and Lisa go above and beyond to provide attentive, personalized care. Scott has assisted my mother with tasks like adjusting her blinds and placing boxes on her bedroom shelf, while Lisa has been a constant source of support, whether troubleshooting my mother’s cell phone when she’s confused or reaching out to me with genuine concern when my mother isn't feeling well. Scott also oversees the dining room, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. A very gracious and residents friendly managers like Pam, Glen, Reggie, Eric, Cris, Kathy, Rob, Cathy, Patrick, Kalyn, Scott, Oksana and staff like Leticia, Jacob, Stephanie, Nina, Joe, Jose, Zo, Vanessa etc with wonderful facilities, good food, plenty of activities, trips, a movie theater and convenient location at a reasonable price.
Lisa was a wonderful host today. My mother in law is considering living at Capital Ridge Gracious Living in the near future. A total of 6 family members went with our Mom today and we were very impressed with the staff and the residents. It is a beautiful community and in such a great location. Thank you Lisa for your valuable time that you spent answering all our questions.
My dad is very happy here. They serve 3 meals a day, transport residents to Dr appts, and have lots of activities to keep them active. It is expensive, but everything in northern VA is.
