In 2024 my (then 96-year-old) mother had some health issues that no longer would allow her to live alone. We toured several assisted living facilities and my mother ultimately liked Cantata for the beautiful forested location and the friendly staff. She fell in love with her updated penthouse apartment and the social activities available to her. And we feel they have fair pricing (comparatively to other Chicagoland facilities). Now that she has settled into a routine, she enjoys living there and never having to cook, clean, or do laundry again. I have visited many times and I know my mind is at ease. The staff is kind, friendly, and patient. I have never seen any indications of neglect or abuse. The facilities are always clean and never smell. Bravo to the staff. Thanks for keeping Miss Lucy safe!

My mom was a resident of Cantata Woodlands Assisted Living for five years. It was the best experience for my mom. She loved the entire staff who became her close family early on. The staff are the most caring and supportive group of professionals my mom and our family have experienced and my mom lived in several assisted living communities. She enjoyed all of the activities and special concerts and travel to the various local stores with the facility. She spoke often about the quality of the food which is rare in an assisted living community. Woodlands is also very clean. My mom really loved living at the Woodlands and the level of care was exceptional when she needed it and the nursing care and physical therapy are like no other in the area. Loyola Hospital recommended Woodlands to our family and it was such a great choice. You will not be disappointed if you have a loved one move to Woodlands. It is a hidden gem! We were so fortunate to have the staff at Cantata care for our Mother for the last 6 years. From the nurses, aids, activity personnel, dining and front desk staff, everyone treated her with dignity and respect. The staff had very little turnover in 6 years. We had the same nurses, aids ect the entire time. Your loved ones will be in good hands at Canata.
The transport from northwestern to British Home-Brookfield cantata was seamless for short term rehab. Clean facility Smells good Outstanding staff Responsive, friendly, communicative. Has long term offerings as well. Thank you Cantata!
From a visitors perspective, it's a VERY clean friendly facility. My aunt has been there for a few years and she has been very happy with her little apartment (room). It would be nice if it was a little bigger, but she seems happy. Staff is awesome and their food always looks good when we come to visit when she's eating. Would recommend for a loved one.
