6420 Allentown Rd, Camp Springs, MD 20748, United States
After researching on line for a friend, this location was attached to an AARP link for Seniors to get their SmartTrip Cards. I called at 901am and a very energetic young man answered the phone. It's location on Allentown Rd is not far from the 2nd Ave. Thrift store a block or two away and at Brinkley Rd. I arrived about 945a and quickly was surprised how large the facility was, rows of parked cars, shuttle buses rotating through, people being dropped off, laughter from packed meeting rooms, lines of people waiting to sign up for activities, and a genuinely kind and positive staff. They must be doing something right because everyone was enjoying their experiences, greeted repeat participants, chatting like teenagers over a meal and challenging each other for their next visits.

Tons of activities and resources here. The staff is super friendly, caring, helpful and knowledgeable. My dad and I loved playing pool together in the billiard room. There's something for everyone here, and they serve lunch, too! This place has outstanding programs for seniors of every activity ability. You'll love this place.
Wonderful line dance class. Patricia is a great instructor.
Went to the Camp Springs Senior Center because it houses the Veterans Advocate office for which I was going. Went there for Veterans info & to help a friend. Found out that the Veterans Advocates don’t work in office everyday and that you absolutely must have an appointment to see them. Everything you need to know about their hours & contact info is posted on the outside door of the Camp Springs Senior Center for your convenience.
The staff is always available for questions or concerns about current activities. Exterior and interior always clean and tidy. Special occasions are a blast the staff is over the top help, kind and attentive. Down side the building need updating to meet the needs of the area seniors. Important to keep the exterior clean in the front of the building. Great classes and Staff. The outside bus trips a larger bus is needed for more passengers.
