I recently had a disappointing experience at Cambridge Senior Living, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts. The staff at this facility left much to be desired; they often seemed overwhelmed and unresponsive to the needs of the residents. It was disheartening to witness caregivers who appeared indifferent and lacking in compassion. The quality of care provided to the patients was alarmingly low. There were frequent delays in attending to basic needs, and it was evident that many residents were not receiving the attention they required. This neglect not only affected their physical well-being but also their emotional state, as many seemed lonely and unengaged. Overall, my experience at Cambridge Senior Living was far from satisfactory. The combination of poor staff attitudes and inadequate care for the residents made it a place I would not recommend. There is a pressing need for improvement in both staffing and the overall quality of care to ensure that residents receive the dignity and respect they deserve.
Cambridge Senior Living is truly a blessing! From the moment you walk into the building, you feel welcomed and at home. You are always greeted by a smiling face, whether it is the employees or the residents. Rain or shine Cambridge is always happy and vibrant. Please take the opportunity yourself to come to the building and take a tour. You will not be disappointed!
When our loved one came to the point where it was no longer safe for him to be home alone, we were lost. We found Cambridge through the rehab facility he had been at due to current health issues. We chose Cambridge due to the openness and willingness of staff to be transparent with us regarding the facility, what they were able to offer, and how it worked in relation to our loved ones needs. He has now been there 8 weeks. He is adjusting well. He is left to do his own thing if he wants to, but also welcomed and encouraged to participate in activities when he wishes. His family has the piece of mind knowing he is in a safe environment. He is not alone on a regular basis, with limited social interactions. He is being looked in on regularly to ensure his well-being, while still being left to be as independent as possible. The staff manages his medical needs and his health has improved steadily since moving in. Our family is extremely happy with the care he is receiving at Cambridge and would recommend it for families looking for a safe environment, with some amount of independence for their loved one.
My mother has been in 4 care facilities in the past 2 years. She got into Cambridge when in first opened in late 2022. Staffing was an issue when they first opened, as it was with most care facilities post-Covid. Staffing and the level of care has steadily improved since during her stay at Cambridge. We are overall very happy with the level of care/services provided at Cambridge now.
