Nice room and lots of activities available for the patients. The welcome folder was extremely helpful with expansive information available. Nurse manager was very nice and made us, the family, feel comfortable asking questions. Handicap bathrooms are spacious and equipped with accessible options based on patient preference. Food menu is very extensive. With the food options had nutrition content, like sodium, sugar, calories, etc for those with health conditions that need to be aware (ie cardiac, endocrine, etc)

My 95-year-old mother recently was admitted for Care at cambridge. When I went to visit all the employees were very friendly and helpful and the facility looked to be in very good condition and new and the rooms were comfortable and well decorated and even had a nice view out the window. I spoke with her nurse and the aids and they were all very helpful and I feel comfortable having my mother there.
We’ve been to several different rehab centers in Connecticut for my mom. Cambridge is one of the best! The staff here are friendly and courteous and helpful. The layout of the building is spacious and the room has a lot of natural light and a view of the courtyard garden.
Today I met with the Physical Therapist Tracy and the Occupational Therapist to help understand the amount of care that my husband would need upon his discharge . Both of them were exceptional . They took the time and care for instructions. They were direct and didn’t pull any punches!!! They instructed Walt and corrected his mistakes and his stubborn behavior.Having been married 51 years, I can attest he is stubborn!!! We are so impressed with the cleanliness of this place. We are impressed with the communication given to the family regarding the current health issues . We had been at another Rehab facility a few years ago. It was a beautiful but the communication was horrible!! They were more than understaffed!!! There were many days patients weren’t washed, beds not changed until the evening shift!!! We are so grateful for all the care he has received.
I looked at a few places when my husband fell ill and i was told he needed intensive care upon leaving the hospital. All the places i looked at made me feel uncomfortable before walking into the facility. Cambridge was cheerful and welcoming. When it was understood that my husband had to stay full time, the staff was so caring and answered all my questions. I felt i was leaving him in very capable, trusting and professional hands. The attention by all staff, Aides, Nurses, maintenance, therapy. Everyone has been caring and always offer a shoulder to cry on. (I've been stopped in the halls on occasion just to ask how I am doing). I get calls, sometimes multiple calls, letting me know of any issues, even minor ones. I am very grateful for all the staff at Cambridge.
