When my grandfather passed away, my family made the tough decision to put my grandmother in this assisted living home…. I am so glad we did! She has more friends than ever and loves the staff and community alike. We had Thanksgiving dinner there today and I was blown away by the quality of food and the sense of humor/patience of the people working there. My mother has lived in Cabot Park Village for 5 years now, and we are exceptionally happy with our choice. The best thing about this facility is the staff! They genuinely care about the residents, and treat residents and visitors alike with kindness, generosity, patience, and respect. During the pandemic they were wonderful--dedicated, hard-working, and compassionate. The location is excellent, right next to Cabot Park, and the building and grounds are very well maintained. Cabot offers lots of activities, outings, and opportunities for socializing. My mom can't imagine living anywhere else now, and if I'm still in this area when I decide I want to move into a retirement community, I'll make a beeline for this one.
The wonderful staff at Cabot Park Village has been taking care of my mother for the last 7 years, their commitment to their residents is truly incredible, it never wavered during the darkest days of the pandemic. They tried everything to keep the residents safe but continued to create a comfortable living environment. My family will always be grateful for their efforts.
The support of the staff has been amazing helping our loved one to remain at Cabot Park despite frequent medical challenges. Alongside that, is the genuine care and concern from all the employees, kitchen, maintenance, concierge, management. It's easy to tell when one visits, that employees like where they work and like what they do. That translates to a great environment for the residents.
Cabot Park Village has been the perfect place for my parents to move to after selling their home of 60 plus years. The staff, the facility, the activities, the neighborhood - it’s all been just what they needed. Under the leadership of Todd Raymond, a wonderful director, staff is committed to providing a caring, supportive, and encouragement environment. My folks are so busy dining with new friends, going to an exercise class, taking daily walks, participating in activities ranging from interesting speakers to musical events to book group to playing Jeopardy and so much more that it’s not easy to reach them on the phone! Of course they still have each other which helps, but knowing that they are at a place with such compassionate staff around them is very reassuring for the future. I highly recommend Cabot Park Village to families seeking an independent living facility.
