I want to share my experience at Brookwood Rehabilitation Facility after undergoing surgery for a broken hip. Overall, my time there was positive, especially in comparison to my hospital stay. The staff consistently greeted me with smiles, even during the challenges posed by a snowstorm that affected staffing. I appreciated the dedication of the physical and occupational therapists. They were attentive to my pain management and validated my feelings, unlike my experience in the hospital where my pain was dismissed. I would like to address a previous concern regarding housekeeping. I learned that the cleaning staff is unable to move personal items, which may affect how thoroughly cleaning is done. The staff member who handled my cleaning was professional and apologized for any inconvenience. One area for improvement would be the gym equipment, as some items could be updated to better support patient rehabilitation. I experienced some delays when requesting assistance, but I understood that emergencies might arise or that staff could be limited at times. Nonetheless, the staff worked diligently to address my needs. Having been to multiple rehabilitation facilities previously, I can appreciate the care I received at Brookwood. Overall, I would rate my experience positively and commend the team for their efforts.

I absolutely love this place, especially the vent unit. The girl takes very good care of my mother and is so nice and very professional. The best vent unit that I’ve ever seen and I’ve worked in medical for years. Brookwood in Bluash, Oh
They refused to help in setting up transportation being discharged. they claim it was my problem refused to set it up through the insurance company you call for a nurse no one ever comes in stay away from this place. They are not here to assist they just take your money very disappointing place.
Brookwood assisted living facility on Reed Hartman highway has almost killed my mom twice since her being there. They do not properly care for their residents making sure they have basic needs met. My mother has been taken to the hospital twice from her not eating, and she has such a bad UTI she’s turned septic. I do not recommend taking your loved one to this facility.
My 77-year-old mother was sent from the hospital to Brookwood, Now at home she had several falls and was extremely unsteady on her feet. Not only did she thrive while in this facility, she was able to return home safely and stronger than before. My husband and I were impressed with their nursing and therapy team and how smoothly everything went.
