Brookside Memory Care is one of the better care facilities for your loved one with dementia and/or Alzheimer's disease. It is clearly obvious when walking through the doors that this facility cares about their employees, but most important, the residents. All the residents appear to be happy in their daily routines and the staff really same to care and clearly make a difference with the residents! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in search of a memory care for their loved ones!

My sister moved my mother into Brookside in the spring of 2023 after a year and a half in another memory care facility that quickly went down hill under new ownership/management. To say Brookside was a huge improvement is a huge understatement. I would imagine, often when a facility is being chosen, first time families do not know everything to look out for and first impressions may be great, but may not tell the whole story of the level of care their loved one will be under. Since we had toured several facilities before the first move and again before the next, we felt like we knew what to look out for and what would be the best fit for our mother. The caregivers and med techs are kind, patient, and attentive to the needs of the residents. The caregivers, med techs and managerial staff are in regular communication to the families keeping everyone well informed and updated. The administration for the facility is very stable. Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised to see that care plan updates and reviews are done consistently and timely. This seems to be rare from what we have experienced elsewhere and heard from other folks with loved ones in various facilities. The staff has very good resources and connections for medical providers when needed. The staff at Brookside make sure their operations are the epitome of a well designed brochure come to life. The property is well maintained inside and out and incredibly clean and bright. Never cold, and clinical – just cozy and welcoming. Our mother’s room is always neat, tidy, and clean. The kitchen staff make many meals from scratch and are so accommodating to the differing diet requirements and preferences of their residents. Often on visits, the food being prepared in the kitchen smells so enticing. It is a good feeling to know the level of care being taken in that area. There is never a question of security in the building which is paramount with the demographic of Brookside’s residents. We are so grateful to all of the staff in each of the roles at Brookside for taking such wonderful care of our mother. There are enough very hard things to contend with while having a loved one aging with memory issues; Brookside has restored our faith that great care is possible and allowed us to really enjoy the time we have with our mother. We highly recommend this facility to families looking for a safe place to land.
I could not ask for a better place for my wife. All aspects of Brookside from the facility, to management, and care giving staff are more than first class. They are understanding, caring, professional, and responsive both to my wife's needs as well as toward me. I highly recommend this facility.
I can't say enough about this loving and caring facility. I was looking for the best possible place for my sister to live and I knew I had found it here at Brookside Memory Care. The staff here are the best in the business and I have never been sorry that we chose Brookside for her home. I visit frequently and my sister loves it here. She tells me that this is her home and she never wants to leave. We thank them for their commitment to excellence in all aspects of providing care with a loving touch.
Brookside really impressed me. The staff is kind, patient and goes the extra mile. It is a place that puts the residents' safety, care and socialization first. My mother came to Brookside straight from 16 days in bed at the hospital. She was unable to move herself, had a hard time focusing on interactions and had trouble feeding herself. After 17 days at Brookside she was able to get herself out of bed, feeding herself and actively interacting with staff, family and other residents. I felt the staff was involved with Mom's progress and always told me how she was doing. In addition, Brookside is a beautiful place with high ceilings, lots of windows and light, a couple of nice outside areas and walkways. It feels open and cheerful. I would recommend Brookside to any family looking for a competent, compassionate and safe place for your loved one.
