Just over a year at Brooksby, and we're absolutely loving it! I was the instigator, but Ann was won over by the idea that it's 'the best gift you can give your children.' Our apartment is perfect, the community is amazing, and the activities are so much fun. A huge shoutout to the Brooksby staff, especially the dining team, who make every meal a treat!

Guy is in a wheelchair yelling for help to use the bathroom in the dining area. Nobody is around to help him. Another person soiled themselves. No staffer wants to change their diapers and clean them due to a "change in shift." Residents do not look happy. Employees look and act overworked, underpaid, and desensitized to the needs of those they are supposed to care for. I would expect for the money these residents pay to stay in this supposed top tier facility they would receive better care.
This place was decent overall when dad was living there. unfortunately he passed away . Beware of them keeping your refund for many months and coming up with an excuse to the delay. For my sister and I they say they need our addresses. My sister gave it to them four times but instead they sent me an email of a voicemail asking for them. I sent them an email twice back in writing our addresses so Im still waiting. Its october and my dad passed away april 3. IT SHOULD NEVER TAKE THIS LONG! I asked the financial department who their supervisors were but got no response. Hopefully this can be resolved pronto
My parents are thriving in independent living at Brooksby. Every time I call them they are on their way out to some fun activity, and when I visited recently we must have talked to 10 different friends of theirs in the 5 minute walk between the restaurant and their apartment. On a more serious note, when my father had a heart attack, his call for help was answered quickly and the subsequent care he received quite literally saved his life. I truly believe Brooksby is adding years to their lives and life to their years.
My husband and I have lived here for 5 years. The employees are very friendly. There are 4 dinning rooms and each dining room has a different menu. The food is very good. They have a great gym, lots of activities, there are a lot of clubs. The grounds are lovely. We are so happy to be living here.
