You made a difficult situation into something manageable and it was very clear to me why your organization—and particularly Hawthorn Lakes—is so well regarded. This has been a big change and such a learning experience for our Mom and our Family, and the People at Brookdale Lakes have made, and continue to make, her Move and Transition to Brookdale welcoming and comfortable. Candace has been such an asset here for us, as have all Staff who help her each day. Mom is now looking forward to new beginnings here, and it is incredibly inspiring for all of Us.
Brookdale Hawthorn Lake was far and away my first choice to house my mother due to the committed approach they took to making everything possible easier for her to move in. She felt like a VIP, but it has become evident over time that this is the same courtesy they extend to all of their residents. Great staff!!!!
it's a wonderful place to live and people are friendly and the staff is excellent. there is a lot of activities and they offer a lot of transportation to shopping, doctors appointments and church. they also offer outings and happy hour.
I am very happy with my transition to Brookdale from my residence of 57 years abiding in a ranch house Every aspect of life here fits me The residents are interesting coming from all walks of life The staff is very accommodating and wants to help wherever needed The food is very good with all kinds of choices The entertainment suits people of my age with music and songs from my era The Thursday nights out on the town are very interesting A staff member even cleans our apartment once a week I guess I can conclude with the fact that I am just a happy camper
