Brookdale Harbison is an amazing place to be and work. The ED cares so much about the residents, families and staff. The community has been her main concern since day 1, she honestly goes above and beyond and shows caring compassion for the entire community. The staff is very compassionate and work together as a TEAM. I think sometimes reality is hard for people to realize that whatever happens in a community whether it's good or bad everyone is going to blame the person in the head seat without actually knowing how the good or the bad came about. We should all sometimes take a minute to stop and think how much time, love, caring and compassion goes into a community to make it a great community. Brookdale Harbison is a great community and the ED strives to make it the best community even if that means people quit or get fired. Maybe this isn't what they wanted to do and maybe they simply have to blame someone for their own faults. Maybe we should simply say she is doing her job to make Harbison the best community. People see a face but at times are not seeing the truth. I love Brookdale Harbison and I love the residents and families. We together as a Team will continue to strive to make this community the best!!!❤️

Brookdale at Harbison is a warm homey environment for my elderly father. He is well taken care of and thriving. The staff work as a team and are always willing to help out. I have peace of mind knowing that he is safe and in good hands.
I am extremely disappointed with the current state of this assisted living community. The high staff turnover is affecting the residents, leading to inconsistency in care and services. The leadership under the current Administrator is lacking, and the community just doesn’t have the warmth it once did. Many of the good managers who used to make this place feel like home are no longer here. It’s heartbreaking to see how much it has deteriorated. My family member, along with several other families, are now seriously considering moving to a different facility. This is not the community it used to be.
Brookdale is a place where residents are well taken care of and feel safe and part of the overall family. Family members are welcomed and encouraged to participate in events with their loved ones. Everyone knows everyone and Brookdale's enviornment is one that is like a loving family who cares about each other.
