Our father needed a place to recover following a long stay in hospital. Brookdale in Boulder Creek was a perfect option. The facility was beautiful including a relaxing outdoor area. Staff were kind, prompt and very helpful throughout his stay. We can't thank them enough for the gracious hospitality and caring presence.

My mom has been here for 8 months and we could not be happier with this place. The staff is so caring and positive with the people who live here, it then sets the tone for the residents. It is a friendly and warm community! My mom loves the staff, the activities and the food. She is very, very content here! 😍
Cheryl (the executive director) will treat your loved ones like the scum of the earth. She has on numerous occasions mocked residents and instead of calmly redirecting residents with dementia, she will yell at them. A resident has managed to FLY TO NEW YORK unnoticed with little to no repercussions. Cheryl makes her management staff do her expense reports, will show them write ups for other staff members, and will tell them to smoke weed or drink wine on shift. If you have a loved one with a diet that is difficult for the kitchen staff to accommodate, they will be told that they cannot eat. Unless they threaten to call the Ombudsman, nothing will be made to change that. Staff will leave bruises on residents in lift assists. Say nothing of how sometimes it is so understaffed that only ONE med tech will be responsible for three entire floors. (hundreds of medications INCLUDING narcotics, so there's plenty of room for med errors) like that one person said. check indeed. Your loved one is only safe here if they are completely independent.
My father has been at Brookdale Boulder Creek for just over a year and I’m extremely grateful to the staff for their compassionate and respectful care. He feels safe and loved and part of a caring community.
