My Father has been in Memory Care at Brookdale Bay City for a couple years now, and the staff there treat him very well. When I stop in, his room is always neat and clean, along with the facility. Rosie has been awesome, right from day one when my brother and I first came in looking for a place for Dad, she cares. Nurse Deb, makes sure medications are well managed, and if there are any concerns I am notified right away. Dad eats very well and enjoys the activities. They have someone even coming in now to give the residents massages, how awesome is that? I can say that it has been a positive experience having Dad at Brookdale Bay City, and I would highly recommend them. Previous comment: My loved one has been at Brookdale Bay City for a year now. He has dementia. The staff at the memory care center are very professional and caring. It's not uncommon to see them hugging the residents and making sure their needs are met. The staff go above and beyond to keep their residents happy. I visit unannounced regularly and have NEVER seen any staff not taking great care of the residents. I would highly recommend them for caring for your loved one.

The staff at Brookdale Bay City goes above and beyond to take care of my loved one. The facility is clean and organized. The stand out staff are Rose Spano and Nurse Deb. They are two of the kindest people that you could ask for to care for my family member. It took me a very long time to make that decision to choose Brookdale Bay City. I am confident in my decision, and have experienced exceptional communication as well as the comfort of knowing my family member is safe.
I have relatives who have been in the assisted living facility for over a year. Any time I've had a question or concern, Rosie and/or a staff member have been quick to listen and offer an answer or solution. I feel confident that the residents are receiving quality care given with kindness and compassion. This is a smaller facility, making it feel more like home and allowing the staff to give more time and attention to the residents.
Rosie is a great leader who not only cares passionately for her residents, but for her staff as well. She is always there when you need her and ensures that her staff know they are appreciated.
The Executive Director, Rose, is one of a kind. Knowing your loved one will get the care they deserve is priceless. I’m blessed my grandmother got to spend her last days in a place filled with love.
