Lived here for 1 year and had a wonderful experience. Dillion in the leasing office is so incredibly kind and helpful, probably the best experience I have ever had with a leasing agent. Location is great and the grounds are kept very well. Sad to be leaving!!

Resident for 1 year, I have had a good experience. Snow is cleared timely, units of reasonable quality but not luxury. Gym is basically just a closet with some weights. Pool is not heated but is a nice pool. Parking is good but only one carport per apartment.
I lived there for 3 years and couldn’t wait to get out of there. Stay away from this dump would be my suggestion. Starting with bug infestation that they could not make go away. Then charges at end of lease. They tried charging me 2500.00 at the end. Got it down to 600 which I still would not pay. Existing damage upon move in. Broken cupboards, very poor carpeting, broken latches, balcony rotting out, on and on. I was without a/c for a week in middle of summer and they would not credit me for that. Said they had it fixed the first time by changing some filters. They came out one time to fix a handle on a door and instead of putting on a new handle, they used a bottle cap on backside as a washer. Can’t make this up. They are pitiful. If you like living with low life, rude millennials then this is the place to live. I hated living there. There is a reason their review numbers are so low. Stay away!
Lived here for a little over 2 years and never had a complaint. Management and office staff always very friendly and quick to help with anything. Rarely any issues with needing maintenance to come out, but when needed they always responded to work orders very quickly, many times within the very same day. The laundry area was always clean, and during the winter, sidewalks were cleared very fast. The location is also great. Very close to downtown South Lyon, and a quick commute to Ann Arbor! Highly recommend Brookdale Apartments for anyone looking in the area!
My wife and I signed a 15 months lease in a hurry to get in somewhere last year. We have since moved out after our lease because of a new job. Comparing this new place to there, brookdale might not be as new. But it was very quiet and the management was absolutely amazing. Anytime I emailed them they made sure to get right back. They always gave ample notice if they needed to do any maintenance on the apartment. All in all a great place to live. Honestly, my wife and I were just talking about how we miss how quiet it was there.
