Broad Creek Manor is situated rurally with lots of quiet and nature. It is more like a large residential house than an institution. The staff are amazing. They really care for and respect all the residents. And we were always warmly welcomed during our visits, including at the very end, when we were there day and night. I am forever grateful that my mom could spend the final years of her life at such a wonderful place. It gave me great peace of mind.

Broad Creek Manor is truly a great place for your loved one. As a former employee of BCM I can say that the staff cares about the residents and takes the time to make sure that all of their needs are met. Every staff member there is so compassionate and makes sure that each and every resident is properly cared for. The facility feels like a home where all of the meals are homemade and the residents gather together like a family. The facility also does a great job with fun activities including both the residents and families for holiday parties and get togethers. It was always my favorite watching how happy the residents would be to spend time with their families and watch their grandchildren play in games! BCM truly goes the extra mile to make all of the residents happy. A unique place that both you and your family member will love.. and it also comes with a beautiful view!
Broad Creek Manor Assisted Living is truly the best AL that I have visited and worked with. The residents are so happy here and the staff cares as if they are their own family, it is so great to see! Our nursing students that we bring in were amazed with how great the staff and owners are with the residents and visitors, not to mention how well the residents are cared for. The facility is gorgeous inside and out. You walk in and it automatically feels like home, that is a not a typical feeling when you walk into an AL. Melissa Chaney is exceptional to work with and really takes the time to get to know everyone here and makes you feel welcomed. I would recommend BCM to everyone! I look forward to going there again with my students, it felt like we were a part of their family there.
Broad Creek Manor Assisted Living has been a huge blessing to our family. I cannot write eloquently enough to share the multitude of my gratitude for the love and care that my mother receives there. The owners and the staff are fully vested to be sure that the residents are getting top notch care. The food is homemade and the menu changes daily. I love walking in and being comforted by the wonderful aromas coming from the kitchen. BCM prides themselves on being one big family and we are! I say, “we” because the owners and staff work tirelessly to accomplish this goal. They communicate with families, plan family fun activities, are extremely compassionate, and form personal relationships with the residents and their families. The staff has done an outstanding job handling my mom’s medical issues as well. I am so relieved and thankful to know that my mother’s physical, medical, social, and emotional needs are constantly and consistently being met. The owners (Scott and Melissa) and staff, are angels here on earth!
Broad Creek Manor is as amazing as it looks! I have known the owners for greater than 20 years and trust me when I say that they have the most superior care you will ever find in any assisted living facility. I had the pleasure of working with Melissa and I have seen first hand how important high quality care truly is to her. Both Scott and Melissa are compassionate and thoughtful in all they do from providing an unmatched caliber of care for the residents to planning for how to maintain safety standards throughout the facility at all times. With Melissa's therapeutic background, she is easily able to determine where, when and how to provide supports to any resident. I would definitely choose Broad Creek Manor for my loved one and not ever worry about the care being provided for even a minute! I highly recommend this facility!
