My mom was at Bristol for over 4 years, and her time there was just wonderful. The staff treated her with kindness, empathy, and respect. She was so well taken care of. She thanked her children every day for bringing her there. It was clean, friendly, the food was wonderful. She used to say, "I feel like I'm in a country club." We just knew she was being taken care of and loved. Bristol added four wonderful years to my mom's life and we are forever grateful.

My mother has been at Bristol Village for over a decade. The facility itself is beautiful and well kept. The staff members are always friendly and caring, and everyone from management knows each resident by name. Communication and safety are clearly their number one priorities. Both the residents and the families of the residents are made to feel like they are part of the community! You will not find better quality assisted care anywhere in the Western New York area!
Bristol Village made my mother feel right at home from the moment she walked in the front door. The staff was friendly, compassionate, and treated her with respect. She made friends quickly and enjoyed the variety of activities offered, especially Bingo and Cooking Classes. We were able to rest easily knowing she was in a clean, safe, 24/7 staffed facility.
My mother (Mrs. Reed) had a very pleasant stay during the time she was there. The staff was/is very professional and made her feel at home.
I have run the gamut of Assisted Living Care facilities in the Kenmore/Amherst/Tonawanda/Williamsville area. Toured just about every one. Bristol Village is far and away the best facility for numerous reasons: The staff are fabulous! Absolutely the best and that makes the resident happy. I always see smiles on the resident faces when I visit my Mom at Bristol Village. There are huge variety of ever changing activities on the premises as well as off property. They have their own comfortable van to take residents shopping, to the doctor and on special outings. The place is beautifully designed and IMMACULATE. It looks as if you are entering a well appointed resort when you enter through the lobby doors. Key, for my Mom is that everything is on one floor. Think twice about properties with elevators. They usually do not have a back up generator and I have heard first hand horror stories of residents being trapped on whatever floor they happen to be on when the electricity goes out during a storm. Some people went for 5 days with out being able to leave the floor their unit is located on. The units are spacious. My Mom resides in a one bedroom and is very happy with the amount of space and privacy. You can do your own laundry if you prefer, Common area washers and dryers are available on every wing if you prefer, but the Laundry department does a great job! No lint, no wrinkles! The dining room is exceptionally beautiful and kept immaculately clean. It looks like a real restaurant! Cloth, wine glasses etc. and the food is really very good. It's nice that you can join your loved one for a meal in such a welcoming environment. The outdoor spaces are beautiful! Fountains and beautiful furniture, Resident can even dine outside during the warmer months. I am thrilled that I was finally able to place my Mom at Bristol Village, There was a bit of a waiting period, but it was sooooo worth it. Again, the main thing is the staff, whether it be administrative, operational or direct caregivers, the folks are the absolute best at what they do and I am so appreciative of the kind way they care for my Mom. They take care of everything for the other family members so you really don't have to worry about anything once your loved one is settled into residence. Don't waste your time checking out other places in that general area. None of them even come close to the standards of gracious living that are afforded the residents at Bristol Village.
