BUYERS BEWARE: I would not recommend this facility. I placed my mother here and she only stayed one day because one of her friends came and got her after they told me that they would not let her leave without my approval. Bristol Park staff were very responsive and nice, until she left. We paid them over $5,000 for one a one-night stay. No refund and I can't even get them to return my calls or letters to discuss. Considering finding a lawyer to resolve.
My mother has lived here since October 2021 and I am so happy with the care she is getting. I can’t say enough good things about the Lifestyle staff - Tammie and Joyce are wonderful and very encouraging. They have been able to get my mother to participate in activities - a huge accomplishment! My mother can be difficult sometimes but the staff is learning how to work with her and I appreciate that! Everyone I have dealt with have been very courteous and caring and they are good at communicating. The facility is very clean and homey. On-site PT/OT provide a great service.
I have been to a wide array of Assisted Living communities and this one is something special. The Executive Director, Director of Resident Care, Sales/Marketing Director, Activities, etc are great individuals who really care for their residents. They are great communicators and really do want what is best for their residents. I would highly recommend this community.
I would not recommend bringing your loved ones here, trusting the “care” this facility gives. I am a privately employed caregiver for someone who was moved in to this facility a few months ago. My client has high level needs so he pays for “high level care” which he does not get what so ever. The communication in this facility is awful. I literally have to communicate with 5 different people before seeing even a slight resolution. I’ve talked to employees, residents and family members and haven’t heard one positive thing about this facility. The employees are overworked and because of that the residents here are suffering. You’ll find the chain of command more and more neglectful and even disrespectful as you climb that ladder. It should not be this way!! I’ve seen all of the ones in charge lounging and relaxing in the front office here which irritates me beyond measures. If I, an outsider, knows what is going on here then they definitely know and don’t do a thing about it. I’m here daily to care for my client, so I have been able to manage what has been neglected while I’m not here. With that being said, I can only imagine what the other residents who don’t have private caregivers have to go through!
