My family moved my mom into memory care (Wellspring Village) at BV - Hunt Valley six months ago. It was an unanticipated event as my dad, her primary caregiver, died suddenly. Since settling in, my mom can only repeat how much she loves living there. From my perspective, all members of the staff are caring, personable, and have taken the time to really get to know her (and every resident). It really made me feel good when my mom said - after Thanksgiving dinner at my house with my whole family - ‘OK, I’m ready to leave now, please take me home’. She was ready to go back to Wellspring Village, the place she considers to be her new home. She is active, thoughtfully engaged in activities, safe, and loved there. I don’t worry about her health nor safety, and I get to visit her beautiful and fun home often to continue to see her thriving in this last phase of her life.

My 91 year old mom recently moved into the Wellspring neighborhood at BV Hunt Valley. We were both anxious about the move, but we could not be happier with this decision. The warm, caring staff is absolutely outstanding. The services and opportunities to enjoy Vibrant Living activities at her cognitive and physical level, the gracious and delicious dining, and the beautifully appointed and safe spaces both indoors and in the outdoor courtyard gardens are all amazing. Moving into a new neighborhood at 91 is challenging. However, for my mom, the level of professionalism, caring and assistance to address her disabilities, the scope of activities to promote joyful living, and gorgeous and thoughtfully designed physical environment greatly eased her transition. For that, I feel truly blessed.
