I am a homehealth aide what I saw yesterday was so sad. Woman from Tribute Healthcare were too busy on their phones to feed people properly. This is everytime I come. I witnessed a man that cannot speak for himself choke from neglect. Lucy his aide was watching tv. Then a napkin was placed over his mouth so people couldn't hear how bad he was choking. I told nursing they told me to report it on the 3rd floor. The woman I spoke to was so unprofessional/rude. So, they called my boss and I am fired because I made a complaint. They banned me from every Brightview and have contacted each other knowing I was calling to report what happened. I was then given a wrong number for Joe Reed the Regional Director. I spoke for someone that couldn't speak for themselves and I lost my job for doing so. My first day working there the one woman was screaming about decorating a Christmas Tree just another thing. She wasn't getting extra pay. ( her words) I decorated it. So after I reported the incident on Saturday I asked for help from nursing for the person I was helping. They neglected to help. That resulted in that patient throwing up and that was because of neglect. My patients family contacted Ali and told her what my client could drink. The kitchen staff yelled at me saying only water. Resulting in the patients family calling again. Don't know but I wouldn't put my family member there. They set it up pretty when family comes. But, it's just a show. Let me be clear, the other brightview in Bel Air was nice, staff was nice. Not memory care in Bel Air. I mean who would tell their family what happens if they can't remember.? I got fired for speaking for those who couldn't.

My mother stayed at Avondell Independent living for 10 years. Her picture was on the wall With all the residents that had been there for at least 10 years. It Is the best place I've ever seen and my husband and I have tremendous experience in this now. We've seen about 30 facilities and nothing comes close to this particular brightview. They called my mother Miss Betty. They treated her with respect. They went above and beyond for everything. It was family. My mother always said she lived on her Street. To her it was home. Can't thank them enough for everything.
My mother has been a resident at Brightview Assisted Living in Bel Air for about a year. We have been so pleased with the care she receives and more importantly the kindness of the staff. EVERYONE there is so friendly and nurturing. My mom is always joking with the staff. It warms my heart to know she is in such good care by amazing people especially throughout this pandemic. They have been excellent about communication regarding my mom and also any other pertinent information about the facility and residents. I feel so lucky that we found Brightview. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for assisted living or a nursing home.
My mother has been a resident in Brightview Bel Air's Assisted Living and and has received wonderful care from all staff. It is always a pleasant, cheerful, and warm community and all residents greet you with a smile. My family has been very happy with the care and attention that my mother has received. Under very difficult circumstances with Covid, and the ever changing protocols, I don't think Brightview could have done a better job. We are so thankful for everyone there.
Lovely family Thanksgiving dinner. Food was delicious. The decor and service were lovely.
