I work with an agency who deals with this place .. I’ve been a seasoned aide for 26 years. This is the worst place I’ve ever worked at.I worked here two months, never knew who management were. The schedulers put you on floors then if you work a 12 or 16 you get switched to a different maybe because their staff don’t want that floor, there is nowhere to put your lunches or even your belongings, the staff is not professional at all, they play music on there phone , FaceTime people ,, take naps, don’t do rounds and leave it for next person in which the patients are soaked because there are no bed pads, no laundry person , you get your own and that’s if someone showed you where to go, 2main floor morning staff that’s nurses/aides are absolutely disrespectful and ignorant, they roll their eyes at you, I could hear them talk about me instead of asking me my name, not welcoming at all! The aide with the bouffant hair very unprofessional and ignorant towards staff and patient, will not help you, nor answer lights! The staff on that floor are all friends so you complaining ain’t going to get you anywhere they’re just going to turn you into management and management …which was just an Rn, she told they are trying to fix the issues there…they don’t even ask your side they are going to give you paperwork educating you on how you should be as a person. I don’t think they want aides there doing their job because that makes them look stupid! Afternoon aides won’t even work on mornings because of it and I canceled two weeks of 12 hour shifts due to the terrible environment you have to deal with, it gave me migraines. I feel bad for the patients and the workers that actually care. They call the patients crazy but they are the ones that actually told me how horrible the staff and food was and there is never and has never been hot water so they refuse to get bathed. They have state there on a regular and they run around like they actually care till they are gone! Very disappointed and disgusted!!!!

A loved one is currently staying there. The staff so far has been great and I'm very happy that there's always activities for her to do. Unfortunately they follow the rules of PALAPA which is an outside state regulated pain management source and go by general guidelines not individual cases or what is recommended by the patients doctors / surgeon
I really enjoyed my experience here at Brighton! Especially with the residents. I made good friends. The majority of the staff were pleasant. The only negative I have is the communication with administration. Overall, my experience here was positive! There was definitely more good than bad .
Absolutely deplorable. This place should be shut down immediately. Rude staff, filthy conditions, residents were all through the hallways and some were fighting with each other. Live wires hanging from the ceiling outlets. Checked my husband out after he laid there for 14 hours with no meds, no help with going to the bathroom as he has a broken leg. He was then berated with foul language when he was leaving and they refused to give him his papers from the hospital.
It was a good experience. I met a lot of good people. I'll come back if I need it. There are a lot of people who need places to live and Brighton saves lives with the mental and physical disabilities they have They need a place like Brighton to stay
