Where do I start, our mother was only there for 2 weeks and it was nothing but issues. The staff is rude and lazy. They will put your loved ones in diapers so they don't have to do their job. Last Thursday was the final straw when my niece went to visit my mother and found her without her oxygen on and her oxygen level was at 37% and their excuse was the guy was new. They could've killed my mother if my niece didn't show up when she did. So my mother was placed back in the hospital and yesterday we find out they don't want my mother back because of many issues with family members. Not that we were going to send our mother back there. All of our issues were due to their poor care . These places hate when family members speak up and call them out .
I have heard a lot of negative things about rehab and acute care facilities. So naturally, when my husband needed this type of care, I was very concerned that what I knew about rehab and acute care facilities would be true. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I have found Bridgeway to be quite the opposite. The care and personal involvement with both myself and my husband has been excellent. The medical staff, including physician assistants, nurses, physical therapist and others, are very well versed on my husband’s medical conditions and diligent with his care. So much so that the Bridgeway team picked up an additional medical issue and acted on it swiftly. In addition, Bridgeway is such a positive environment so that it is so much easier for a caregiver to feel at home while visiting their loved ones and asking questions on the patient’s behalf. I would not hesitate referring anyone to Bridgeway with confidence that their loved one would be in competent and caring hands.
I bring a friend here about once a month, to visit with her friend. I drop her off in front of the door and then park. Very convenient. I love your security system! It is up to date and also convenient! I always wait in the atrium which is quiet and cool and then they both come and visit with me before we leave. I saw the birthday cake that was made for your patient and what your employees did was so heartwarming!
I would not take a loved one here my grandma broke her hip the first day there they had no regard for safety of there patients. The workers are there for the paycheck and nothing else they will sit there and go on Facebook. I would not send ur loved one here. The social workers and the unit mangers are great but the overall quality of the staff is lacking care for patients.
