My sister and I moved my Dad into Bridges about 6 months ago and have been so relieved. We are never worried about him not receiving the care he needs even when we can't be there. The environment is like a family - we know the attendants well and dad feels comfortable with them. It is a very down-to-earth community there. And his life and health have finally gotten stabilized! And the best part is we can go visit him as often as we like. Kudos to the team at Bridges!

What a blessing it was to find a place for our beloved mother, mother-in-law and grandmother to move to as it became too much for her to live alone in the home she had lived in for over 60 years. It wasn’t easy to convince her that it was the best answer but we thought she should try it out. Her quality of life has significantly improved in the 2+ months that she has been residing at Bridges. She is surrounded by friendly welcoming people, enjoys the activities and camaraderie of the other residents and the staff. Fun trips to local cafes, museums and the beach have made weekdays special. The care she has received has been truly a blessing. Her meals have been well-received and varied. A respite from preparing solo repasts, a time to be waited on and a time to enjoy mealtimes. Also, the holiday celebrations and musical entertainment offered makes it a delightful environment to live in. Cynde Bloom Lahey
We had to move our mom out of Maplewood because they could not give her the care they promised and everything at Bridges has been great. The staff there are friendly and have a great demeanor and they really take great care of our mom. She needs a lot of help and attention and she is getting it at Bridges. Before making the move to Bridges, we were always on edge and worried about what will go wrong next since her old facility would constantly send her to the ER without proper cause. Since the move to Bridges we feel so much more at ease that our mom is getting the right treatment.
Even with full time care, my aunt’s situation at home was becoming increasingly chaotic and unmanageable. She was resisting care and becoming more and more isolated and lonely. Bridges has provided her with a caring community that understands her needs and challenges as well as the companionship she was missing. She is treated with dignity and respect by the entire staff. Her quality of life has been much improved has had my peace of mind as her caregiver. She even likes the food - which is no small achievement.
