I visited Bridge View Nursing Home today and was disappointed. The parking lot is full to capacity making it hard for visitors to park. Upon entering I noticed immediately that the facility is outdated and poorly maintained. The lobby had faded and torn wallpaper, chipped paint on the entrance door to their cafeteria, a dirty entrance rug, and a huge visible ceiling poorly patched. The atmosphere in the lobby alone felt lifeless— I peeked into the cafeteria and those residents appeared disengaged. The environment is not welcoming. I left without taking the tour, as I couldn’t imagine placing my mom here. This facility is in serious need of renovation and care. Hope your staff sees this and makes some changes soon.

The facility is old. All staff are most retirement age. No condition for pation with dementia. All patients are walking. The facility has no accupment to take care of patients with dementia. The bed are old and not for patients with dementia, no protection. The personal most retirement age. They have to power to turn patients. Today is April 11,2025. The bed for my husband is not fixed second day. I couldn't belive that change plug in wire needs to take 2 days. And manager of the 6 floor promised that will be fixed yesterday. 9 am and she is still at home. What manager is this. I think my lawyer has nice case for abusing and neglect. April 11,25. 10:30 morning. Two maintenance came and fixed problem in two second. They bring new bed. I would like to say THANKS to Philip and Guy.They made write decision in two minits.Thank you guys again. Also I wanted thanks to all nurses on 6th floor and Happy Passover. Thank you Alexsandra from speech terapist department, Mona, Jason -terapist. Special thanks Joshua nurse at 6th floor. Happy Passover, Easter 2025. P.S. I do not understand why owner paying money to manager, who cannot make quick decisions. Very shame.Thank you
I had a wonderful experience at one of the other Grand buildings. I had a loved one in there, and unfortunately, they didn't have an available bed for a second family member who needed rehab. I decided to look around at other Grand facilities, and as expected, the facility we found, Bridge View was just as delightful as the facility in Great Neck! Great staff, caring nurses, and solid food. A well deserved 5 stars.
There are a few wonderful staff here, SW Beverly and Jen from PT for example, but beware of Case Manager Marie and be very careful of insurance and financial issues that she's in charge of. Improvements in food and decor would go a long way toward making a stay here much more pleasant.
Manny Linares is the directer of Bridgeview I have never seen a directer who's as helpful and hands on as Mr Linares.
