I loved Ashely Circle, my mom was taken care of there. She was never wet or dirty when I went there. The staff was amazing and took very good care of her. My mom couldnt chew food and tney had to puree it to make it easier to swallow. I never had an issue with urine smell or anything like that. Everyone there was great to my mom Any time there was a concern with my mom they called me immediately, I would highly recomend this place to anyone for their loved ones.
First time in 20 years waking into Ashley Place. Nothing has changed. When I first entered the urine smell hits you. This is the first clue residents are not being cared for in a timely matter. The room is clean, and I meet the some housekeeping staff who have Servo shirts on, so they are not Ashley employees. These house keepers were kind, helpful, and smiled when speaking to you. Resident tells me they only had a sandwich for breakfast. Sad they can't fix a healthy breakfast, maybe add some fruit. Resident would have loved some oatmeal or cream of wheat. Unit nurse, aide, activity coordinator, and the DON all came into the room while I was there. NOT ONE knocked on the door prior to entering, NOR did they introduce themselves to the resident or myself. These are the resident homes! Would you want someone coming into your home and not say anything just start touching you? The DON actually came in the first time while the nurse was taking residents BP, and she just stood there with a scour look on her face saying nothing!! The activity coordinator was dressed in Halloween getup, and came in to help the STNA. I had to ask who she was and she also had a scour look, very unpleasant. I spent 25 yrs working in a NH, we prided ourselves for never having a urine smell. ALL staff was taught to knock on residents doors and introduce themselves and state what they needed to do. This is a shameful facility. You need to do better. Teach your staff to take care of your facility like it was their home, and the resident was their love one.

I Highly recommend this facility! The staff is wonderful, they are very caring, polite, nice, sweet and amazing! They are a very hardworking group of people who are constantly busy and deserve to get paid so much more for all the hard work they do, the multiple jobs they perform and countless hours they are there. A special thank you to Jen, Marcie the therapist, Colette, Nicole, Pam, Lorraine the nurse and so many others whose names I can’t remember. A sincere thank you for everything you do, for being NICE, having a happy, pleasant attitude while taking care of people’s loved ones while working so hard and for so many hours, You ARE APPRECIATED!! It takes special people to do what you do! Thank you!
