My mom, a resident at Brentwood, loves playing bingo, along with all the other crafts that Kristin (Resident Experience Director) arranges. She searches out a variety of activities for the residents to enjoy together and engages all in conversation, which is so fun in helping them all to get to know each other better. Kristin has definitely made my mom’s time at Brentwood enjoyable, and always brings a smile to her face.
What a total scam of a place. They empty older folks accounts and then push them off to the next assisted living facility. The lies when you first get shown around and bring your loved ones there are only found out when the money is gone. It’s truly sad that this beautiful facility is run by crooks.
Recently visited looking to move my mom down from NH. The staff are friendly and I had a chance to meet their Executive Director who was incredibly welcoming and took the time to talk to me about what my mom was looking for.
My husband and I have been residents here for the past 8 months and are more convinced than ever that choosing Brentwood as our home was the right decision. Our two bedroom apartment is roomy and comfortable. We are in a safe environment and feel secure in the knowledge that the staff and fellow residents care about us. Although we are able to handle our own needs, we are aware that things change and believe that our needs will be met as we age. Our meals are prepared and served in a pleasant dining room setting, housekeeping and laundry services are provided. While we still able to drive, we have the option of using the facility transportation. While the food is typical for an institution and is not like our home cooking, we are served a balanced diet with choices of entrees. The staff here, kitchen and dining, maintenance and housekeeping, clerical, escorts and personal care are friendly and helpful.
