I volunteer and work at the Savoy bringing music to the residents I brought my students here many times to sing for residents it was wonderful I highly recommend this facility to those needing later in life care. The staff is well trained and friendly They go out of their way to make sure there is care and stimulation for all the residents. Games music events holiday celebrations. Can't comment on facility as have not viewed. Made an appt and scheduled a phone call with Community Director Kristine Medina. Unfortunately she never bothered to call me back to discuss my situation. Since none of my questions were answered during the phone call we scheduled since I did not receive a call back, I won't be touring. If the customer service is this bad prior to being a resident I can only imagine how bad the customer service is once you live there. I will not be touring: or considering this Community.
The Savoy is a great place to live. They try to make sure you feel at home and comfortable. You feel safe and relaxed here. If anything, they are currently understaffed but insist this will improve.
My mom recently passed away after 11 years living @ Brandywine. She and I loved that she was there! The staff is caring, attentive, connected and understand the role they have. Everyone there was family to her from the top down: Xenia, Asif, Janet, Brittany, all of the nurses, aides (too many to mention), kitchen staff, reception, recreation and all of the other departments. The coordination of care, especially at the end, enabled my mother to die with dignity in her room. I am most thankful for allowing my mother to enjoy the last decade of her life. I would highly recommend Brandywine to anyone looking at any Assisted Living facility.
The Brandywine at the Savoy is one of the best facilities that I frequent (at least once a month)! The professionalism of the staff is second to none! They treat each and every resident with the respect and courtesy with which they deserve! As soon as you enter the building, one can feel the welcoming and friendliness atmosphere that the employees and residents alike exude! I sincerely look forward to my visits at the Brandywine at the Savoy each and every time! I feel a unique bond with the staff and residents! I have made friends for life at the Brandywine at the Savoy! I would wholeheartedly recommend family and friends to the Brandywine at the Savoy!!!
