My father was at Bradford House for two weeks. The staff has been wonderful, very caring and attentive. The facility is very clean and welcoming, quite upscale in the common areas. I see some complaints that the phone is often not answered, but we found that the staff is very hands-on with residents, so sometimes the central desk is not manned. Overall, we are very happy with the care my dad received at Bradford House.

There are a lot of negative reviews about this place mostly around staff levels. I doubt there is a skilled nursing/nursing home anywhere that has enough staff, but my wife was treated very well there in the final two weeks of her life. Everyone was caring and did their best.
This is the most important review I have written. My mom, Barbara Barnes, passed away on Thursday, two days shy of her 95th birthday. Bradford House Nursing & Rehab was her home for the last four and a half years. She received excellent care during that time. Care that was delivered with kindness and compassion. My brother and I are grateful for the way my mom was kept comfortable this past week, and for the kindness shown to us. I highly recommend Bradford House to anyone that has a family member or friend in need of long term care. Bradford House team: God bless you for the work you do and how you do it. Many of you touched her heart, and several of you shared with us how much she meant to you. Thank you for honoring our mom!!! Ron Barnes
Would not recommend to any family member or worker. They don’t have enough staff and that is to blame their DON. Horrible management. I found bugs at facility and my family member was not taken care of due to bad training from higher up.
My mother had been there for at least 5 years, until she passed away in the night some time. I was not even notified by them, yet I found out they had notified her D.H.S. case worker around midnight. Also, that the funeral director had been notified. I was not even notified until approximately 8:30 the next morning; which was when the funeral director called me thinking Bradford House had notified me to set up a time for me to come and finish the final arrangements. He and I both were totally blind sided and in a bad situation! Notification protocol; for health issues, accidents, and death, was totally ignored and totally without compassion or give a damn!!! Keep a close eye on any loved ones in ANY of these facilities and staff to protect and prepare yourself and them at ALL TIMES!!!! Eyebrows are definitely raised about this!!!
