First impression of Boulevard ALP in Flushing: lots of smiles on the faces of residents!!! Clean, spacious but cozy facility with friendly staff and administrators. Elinor in admission was quite thorough but extremely friendly and helpful. Even the administrator, Samuel, stopped by and greeted my parents at the admission. My parents and I were quite fortunate to have found the Boulevard ALP in Flushing - probably one of the best AL facilities in NY.

My uncle recently moved into the Boulevard. As someone who was set in his ways forever at his home, we were both nervous and anxious about moving but knew it would be best for him. Elinor, in admissions, made the process much easier. And truly cannot be more appreciative of her understanding, and helpfulness in getting him moved in. Additionally Luba in the business office was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when helping us to figure out the financial and insurance portions. Since moving in uncle is extremely happy, States the facilities and activities are friendly, clean and caring. He is excited about the activities provided and food is great. I have talked with Ella about medications and she is extremely caring and knowledgeable and helped to make sure everything is set for him. For the first time in years I feel I don't have to worry about my.uncle. Thank you.
Boulevard ALP is truly exceptional, and its staff is remarkable. Samuel Horowitz, the executive director, is a visionary leader who adds a personal touch to everything he does. Whether he’s interviewing potential guests and their families or engaging with employees, he sets a high standard for all. Lisa Steinberg, the Director of Case Management, is both intelligent and innovative, ensuring staff preparedness and resident satisfaction. She consistently went above and beyond her duties. Her compassion for the needs of our elderly population and her unwavering dedication to the residents of Boulevard ALP are truly commendable. However, the standout star for my family has to be Elinor Taasa! Her meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment made the transition for my 85-year-old Mother-In-Love from a rehabilitation facility to this vibrant community smooth and quick. Elinor guided us through the difficult decision to place our loved one in assisted living. Her concern for our needs as well as our family members was paramount. Her assistance with paperwork and addressing all of our concerns played a crucial role in making Boulevard ALP my Mother-In-Love's new home. Additionally, the campus itself is a lively and picturesque environment filled with engaging activities. From sing-a-longs to various outings, Boulevard ALP provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere that truly feels like home away from home.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Boulevard ALP! From the moment we first walked through the doors, we were greeted with warmth and kindness. The staff is incredibly attentive and truly cares about the well-being of each resident. They go above and beyond to ensure my mom is comfortable, safe, and happy. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and feels like a cozy home. The activities and social events are a great way for residents to stay engaged and connected. I’ve seen a positive change in my mom when she moved in, and it brought us so much peace of mind knowing she was in such capable hands. I wholeheartedly recommend Boulevard ALP to anyone looking for a loving, supportive environment for their loved ones! Shout out to Lisa, Flora, Bibi, Matthew and Raffy. They are truly the best.
Last week we moved my dad into Boulevard Assisted Living and he couldn’t be happier. The facilities feel more like a hotel—modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff has been incredibly supportive and welcoming, helping make the transition smooth for our whole family. Great food options, too. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a thoughtful and high-quality assisted living community. Big thanks to Elinor for all of her guidance and support in making this transition for dad as seamless as possible!
