Memory care was a nightmare. Shortage of staff, very high turnover, untrained staff, management over promises and most often doesn't deliver what was promised. Laundry service horrible, food sub par, building maintenance horrible, filthy rooms, false documentations by staff, they DO NOT FOLLOW CARE PLANS. Beautiful facility that is well kept. The kitchen staff and housekeeping staff are so dedicated to their jobs and do such a great job. The caregivers see the residents as their family and give them the physical, social and emotional support they need. Coralyn, Mac, Kammi and Rosa want the best for everyone staff and residents alike and have been firsthand witness to that. Thank you to everyone who shows up and gives the residents the care and attention they so so so deserve. We 💖 Bonaventure!!!
I don’t have another community to compare Bonaventure of Tigard to because once I was given a tour by Armanda Soto, I knew it was the perfect place for my Mom. She was so compassionate and caring, I knew my Mom would be in good hands. She and her staff have been open in communication and always willing to help work out any kinks. They truly care about the residents. Everyone has been so kind and accommodating and my Mom also loves the food and activities. Her apartment is clean and bright and airy. We may be new there, but so far, we have loved our experience.
I could not speak more highly of Mandy. My bonus mom was laying in a bed in the Kaiser ER hallway and needed placement ASAP. She was a the hospital with 45 minutes assessing her. She spend 2 hours working with her and even left a blanket to keep her warm. By 6:30 that night, she had been assessed, transported and moved into the facility. Her compassion, empathy and support were exactly what we needed.

They have welcomed my clients and their families with friendly smiles and the warmth that shows they truly enjoy their jobs. From entering the community, to taking a tour and enjoying a meal, my clients felt welcomed and truly enjoy living at Bonaventure at Tigard. I appreciated the time and effort that Armanda and her staff take to help my clients feel safe and secure while also helping them acclimate to their new home at Bonaventure Tigard. Armanda’s years of one-on-one senior care and management experience make her a well-rounded leader for a community serving seniors.
